Feraba - Yoki
Музыка
Feraba it is a music group from Conakry (Guinee). All of them are members of Camara family.Leader of a group is a great balafon player Almami Camara (on the balafon in the middle). He was a member of Ballet Djoliba and many great ballets based in Conakry. Now he plays on the weddings and ceremonies and perform with Feraba which is unique, because it is just one group in Conakry playing traditional Susu music on Susu traditional instrumental ensemble consisting of 3 balafons,2 bote and now is also djembe drum with them. They perform not just music but also with songs and dances together. Almami is also very good teacher of balafon. When you will be in Conakry and want to learn play balafon, ask about Almami Camara, I spent very good 2 month of playing with him.On video they perform traditional Susu piece called Yoki (Yogui).
