So I went to go look at your picture and you're really pretty? But that was literally the most ignorant statement I've ever read. And the people that liked it are just as ignorant, and i'm gonna explain why. You be an African American or a person of color cause nowadays. You can't really tell you should know physical activity level, The area that you live in, And people that have oily hair just in general. Can make a person have to wash their hair more frequently. If I'm going to the gym 6 days a week. I'm going to wash my hair more often than someone who just goes to work and goes home. So telling someone to get better products. Because they washed their hair frequently and frequently for them could be twice a week. Seems really rude and ignorant.

However food is different than 36 dollar hair products we need food to live we dont need these cash grabs by extremely rich money hoarders . ​@@mochalatte5715i agree to a degree you can protect your hair more with braids or twist without a wig being that you dont need to secure it with a tight band or lace glue/spray plus the layer of stocking cap plus lace /cotton wig base drys out our hair. We wore protective styles for centuries in Africa and in the diaspora for centuries wuthout covering it with a wig that most times doesnt look like our own hair

@@yassine8935 Yes there are many protective styles, but we have to be honest, some women in our community have either traction alopecia or thinning hair because of the tight styles like braids for one, twist are not too bad. But slapping on a wig isn’t doing anything to the hair but covering it. The lace glue is essentially applied to the forehead or skin before the hairline, not the actual hair. if they are applying it to the hair, they are doing it wrong. And I would hope that in this day and age, no one is actually gluing weave onto their hair like back in the day. My hair flourishes under wigs because I’m not manipulating it too much. Everyone has their preference.

Quantity/Price makes it seem like it's not for people with curls or coils (because they need more product), not for people with long hair (I'll never understand growth/length retention lines that have small expensive products..), and not for people who wash their hair often (which can be really important for people with dry hair, frizz-prone, fungal/inflammation issues, etc).

@@MikaNTey For my hair to be hydrated and happy, every strand needs to me coated. Some products are more spreadable and hydrating than others, but I almost *always* find curly/coily haired people using the most product. You should watch how stylists do the hair of people with curly hair.

I just hate that Fenty bought into the green washing fear mongering around silicones. Silicones simply make hair care work better. Silicones repair the hair, protect the hair, give fantastic slip, make the hair look bouncy and shiny and nice. It’s just disappointing that we’re getting worse hair care for zero reason besides people being unnecessarily scared of ingredients they don’t understand

I agree. I have low porosity hair and water based moisturizers/creams/lotions actually makes my hair more dry since my hair doesn’t really absorb the product well on its own. Silicones actually help loc in moisture for my hair if I put it on last. 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

You should use the heat protectant when using a blow dryer.

Love that color. Reminds me of my current color accept I have a deep magenta pink. Definitely doing a red or burgundy next, cause trying to find magenta synthetic braid hair to match my hair has been unsuccessful smh 🤦🏽‍♀️. Annnd I love me some braids.
