Amber is perfect for us pale beauties. I'm a Fenty 120 and I love that shade but I don't like contouring in general, or excessive bronzing.

@@megansimplystitch I would say it leans on the cool side and it gives a proper shadow to the face. if applied lightly it can be quite subtle, it's really good.

You have a warm undertone, that’s why Amber looks grey on you. I have fair skin and pink undertone and it’s like the best bronzer I’ve ever tried, looks natural af😍

Exactly. It was a turn off when she said it was like cement. Maybe on you but for us it's beautiful. Just didn't appreciate how it was presented but we all have our own preferences so all good

I have the Amber shade in the matchstix and it's PERFECT for me! But it's definitely for fair skin :)

I love how the 2 bronzers look layered on you. I can definitely see more of a sculpted look on your left side where you used amber and then when you warmed it up it looked like a really natural but sculpted cheek.

I appreciate hearing a review on cream products from someone who doesn't always use cream products. Helps to have different perspectives when looking at reviews.

I have the amber matchstick and I really like it for under the chin, under the nose, and just at the cheek bone near the ear where it really dips into a shadowy contour. It’s also good to contour under foundation

I love my amber stick for contouring. It is a good cream to powder texture. It matches my Holy Grail Kevyn Aucoin medium contour powder perfectly, I’m sooooo excited to try the cream version!!!! I’m too broke right now but I will try to pick one up super soon. I’m gonna pass on the cream blushes tho.

I ordered Butta Biscuit and strawberry drip, cannot wait! I love a light bronzer for everyday ❤️ and my combo skin will love the glow on the cheeks

Good video Morgan. I ordered several of the blushes and the Hunnie Glaze bronzer. They’re supposed to arrive today. I can’t wait to try them on. I’m so excited.

I'm one of the people who can wear Amber. I knew what I wanted when I ordered it and this was it. Also got blushes in Bikini Martini and Drama Cla$$.

Loved this review. I can't wait to pick these up. I'm super pale and I use amber matchstick as my contour. It works really well for me, especially under foundation. It's definitely not for everyone though.

Petal Poppin’ looks fantastic on you! It’s definitely your blusher colour! I’m so torn among Daiquiri Drip, Cool Berry, Summertime Wine, and Rosé Latte. I really need to see them in person once this pandemic’s over. They all look like they’re up my alley, but I’d rather not pay 80 dollars for four tiny cream blushers - that’s almost a Tom Ford quad! 😄

I went crazy with these LOL I got Amber and Butta Biscuit for bronzer and Rose Latte, Strawberry Drip and Crush on Cupid. So far, so good! I love how the Contour/bronzer looks on my light skin.

I wonder how the purple shade looks on fair skin!! The pictures online kind of make me want to get it but how can someone with fair skin pull off a purple blush? Would it work sheered out?? It's just so beautiful!!!

I ended up ordering a Natasha denona blush pallet and an hourglass bronzer a day before these came onto Sephora’s website. Once I’m done with either I might give these a go!

amber and one of the other darker shades are marketed as contouring shades, not for bronzing

I loove the shade rosé latte & that natural flush😍 I’m not sure if these are right for my combo-oily skin type though

i use amber as my contour and then layer over it the Bobbi Brown StoneStreet. I am ultra fair, and i've always wanted to contour but using bronzer as my contour shade just looked odd on me! Even companies that claim they have a contour range is still just bronzer to us pale lot! Layering the two products means im getting that shadow associated with 'contour' and then the bronzer over the top just adds warmth all over the face . love it! it's my holy grail for contour products!

The match Stix u have to apply to the back of your hand and warm it up first....swirl with the brush and then apply...or rub between your fingers first if u prefer that way. Either way thats the only way I can get them to work. After I started doing that I fell completely in love with them and that started my love for cream products...kelsee Briana jai also said to do the same with these blushes as well. I bought 3 but ill probably go back and grab one or two more...thanks for the video morgan...love u💗

I bought butta biscuit as well and it blended into nothing. I’ll make it work but ended up making a second purchase to buy macchiato. I really liked the formula.

hey girl, have you tried setting them? and whats the wear time without setting? do you find they pick up your foundation?

I love the match sticks!! Lol I passed on the cream bronzer it seems like more work than I want to do at this time.

In the tutorial that Rihanna did on her Fenty KZread channel she used the amber shade on herself before bronzer and specifically said it was to create a shadow. I guess they believe it’s good for most skin tones.

I bought cool berry too and the color on Sephora looks more light and dusty than they do on camera/ in reviews. I was afraid it would be way too dark for me, but I’m relieved seeing you apply it because it is not as dark as I was afraid it would be.

Just use a light hand and it will look great!

I didn’t like the match sticks at all I felt not only were they dry they had disturbed the makeup under when trying to apply. Fenty has been hit or miss for me. However I couldn’t be more excited about this launch. I’m a cream blush girl and these are right up my alley! I can’t wait till they arrive!

Also i think you might kosas tropic equinox im pale and use the regular as a bronzer but maybe high intensity would make a great bronzer you too and its a duo with a highlight

I use the match stix as a contour/bronzer! light med asian skintone and I use the mocha one I think (?) I have normal/combo skin and it works great for me :)) I feel like the highlight match stix are verrry dry though

Also is rose latte similar to the milk mini lip to cheek shade in quirk

I haven’t gotten mine yet, but I picked Macchiato for the bronzer & I think I am glad that I did... I did order Daiquiri for the blush, which I think I will have to send back because I saw Alicia demo it last night and it was way too much .. crap. I’m wondering if this will be too much work.. I don’t like products that are “work” if you know what I mean.

I really wasn’t planning on picking anything up from this launch but now I am thinking I may need that blush!! Also you have a very nice way of explaining in detail the products, very informative!! Great content!!❤️

I am a natural fair myself and Amber is the perfect contour shade for me. I have the stick version instead of this packaging and it is a-mazing. Again it is all about your skin tone. And overall I think Fenty is killing it with its cream skin products. Blushes are amazing I love sticks and I bought Butta Biscuit for some warmth and it works too. I don’t understand why the brand’s glosses are this famous when they have these right here.

I'm glad I resisted these I just prefer powder I have a couple cream bronzers but I never use them I always forget lol

ahh! So happy you love the milk bronzer, its awesome! I would use just a touch of rose latte for a quick everyday touch! (be light handed)

Fenty blushes 0.3g - $20dlls Milk makeup MINI blushes 0.6g $15dlls I still got 3 anyway (rose latte, fuego flush, drama cla$$) and a couple of the Milk Makeup minis. Did you know there are new shades?

I ordered on the 20th before the sale and my order still hasn’t shipped. PISSED is an understatement.

I thought the contour color was waaayyy too gray, but once you pot the bronzer on top it looked really gorgeous. I picked up the strawberry drip blush. I haven't gotten it yet though. I love that pink blush. I may had to pick that one up too. Have you tried the tower 28 cream blushes? I picked up 2. Can't wait to try them!!!

I have talked about those in my videos a couple of times! They are very nice!

The blush is so pretty. I liked all the shades you used today. I am very fair and usually use the lightest shade in most foundations and concealers out there. That contour scared even me! I just can’t imagine using that color on my face. I did like the lighter bronzer. Do you usually set your cream products down with a light dusting of powder? Have a great day Morgan! 🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺

I wonder if the shade Amber is the same shade as their cult favourite shade in the matchstix formula? That shade is said to work really really well as a contour shade for Asian skin tones. They're the same shade name but this new one seems darker/greyer?? I never picked up the matchstix because it seemed a bit too dry for my dry flaky skin but was hoping this would be tje same colour just creamier

I agree that this one looks more like a contour in the pan. My Matchstix Amber is definitely too warm and brown to work as a contour on me.

Yes it is the same shade. However it's much easier to work with. I personally found the matchstix difficult to work with. I loved the amber shade but they were hard to blend. These compacts blend like a dream. James Holland swatches both of them on his channel if you want to see.

Thanks so much for the review on the Amber shade! Fenty has been posting on their social that this is their most popular contour shade.... the fact that it doesn’t look good on you tells me it wont work for most people unless you’re palest of the pale!

Hi Morgan! Love your YT that I’ve followed a few months ago! Can i ask you for a tutorial with purple cream blushes like Fenty Cool Berry? I think about monochromatic look but can imagine anything besides that 😅 Thank you! 😘

I love cream blush so I picked up rose latte and fuego flush but I’m really tempted to get cool berry and bikini martini or crush on Cupid. The cream bronzers are a pass for me. I’m not crazy about fenty bronzers in general.

I got Buttah Biscuit, Fuego Flush, and Daquiri Dip. I’m super pale. I really have to layer these products on to get good color payoff. I think if you like a sheer application you’re good but you aren’t going to be able to do like a really bold blush look. I also don’t think they have a lot of longevity. A bit overhyped in my opinion. (I think Amber is better suited in the matchstick formula because it’s very matte and the color can be controlled better. I love it.)

I'm glad more people are saying this about these blushes being pretty sheer. I dont really buy high end blushes anymore. There's just too many good affordable options now. But I did just splurge on Rare Beauty's liquid blush in Bliss and from what I read, those are a lot more pigmented than Fenty Cream Blushes. And i dont like the finish on the Fenty at all. They have an iridescence that I don't care for in blush at all. I'm glad I passed on it because it did catch my attention at Sephora.

Amber is actually fentys #1 shade in matchstix which is why they made it in the cream bronzer! Its constantly going out of stock

I think the matchstix formula works better as a contour since its actually matte! This shiny cream formula aint doing it! Lol for me personally I wish I would have gotten macchiate, but butta biscuit works fine!

With powder on top, yes!

Every bronzer (and many contour powders including Kevyn Aucoin) I have looks like Cheeto dust on me when I'm not self tanned. I'm hoping Amber works for my natural stark pale days.
