Welcome to the fam Neisha. Since I haven't been in the sun too much this year 370 has been clutch. But when I came back from Florida I mixed a tiny bit of 385 and it was perfect.

After you did the concealer and finished it off I just completely gave up🤣 in the liquid I’m 370 but it’s just a tad too light but not by much and I wear it year round now this 385 just shook the hell out of me! 🥰

Listen Fenty had me all theeee way shook. It definitely shows how concealer can really change a foundation.

I feel your confusion. I got matched through Fenty’s virtual consultant and after they looked at a couple of pics, they recommended 370 for powder and soft matte but they recommended 385 for the hydrating foundation. So I did a test and thought I was going to go throughout the day look good and crazy. I had the powder on the left, the hydrating on the right and the soft matte on the forehead. I walking throughout the house , went to the store and back home. No one knew I had two types of foundation colors. *Twilight Zone theme song starts*

I kept and use both. Waiting for my summer tan so I can use 385.

I typically use 370 in the winter and 385 in the summer, but I'm still confused during the winter! and when I am super super confused i mix both liquid shades lol

I had the same issue. At first they put me at 340, then 370, then 380. When more shades were released I was matched at 385. lol I'm intrigued by 370 though so I may check it out at Sephora. Both shades look good on you. Like it's not a noticeable difference where someone would question if you're wearing two different shades.

I’m typically 385 across the board & like you I was super confused when multiples shades matched, I’m just so confused about my complexion these days 😭. I like both shades on you tbh but they both work which is so weird Bc of the undertones

Fenty definitely got the undertone right. If you know you're gonna get darker 385 is the one but if your not gonna be in these streets cuz of Rona 370 is perfect

I thought I was the only one with this dilemma. I have both shades 370 and 385 and neither are prefect. I also got a sample of each to mix together and that was my shade. I was having a hard time finding the shades for the powder because I did not want to buy both, so thank you. Also I have to think ahead like you, I am super pale right now but will be darker in the summer. I am way too broke to buy both!

I’m a 360 in the hydrating foundation. I’m so stuck on what to get for the powder foundation. Everyone is saying it isn’t the same across the board. You look very pretty though!! Both do look good to me.

Hey LaShanda. This range is weird but I would go down to the next shade that has the same undertone as your foundation unless you like your powder to be slightly darker so you can use it in the summer

I think 370 is your perfect shade. It melts into your skin, but because 385 does not disappear into your skin as such, it gives a different character/lift to your face.

370 is my go to for most of the year but as soon as I get tan 385 steps up

I literally just bought 370 and reviewed. I had to get a virtual consultation, it matches so well. I was also told I should try 385 but it would match more in the summer time. I had the same reaction when I put 370 on 😄. Great video 💜

Hey Monica I use a setting spray on top. I've been going back and forth between milk hydro grip and Charlotte tilbury.

As I sit here trying to decide if I should buy 370 or 385 in Fenty Beauty.. I find you and this video. I'm going with 385 myself, thanks of the video! :-)

I feel like 385 would be amazing because I prefer my foundation base a bit darker. I just KZreadd “Fenty 385” and just watched your video on the Matte foundation, lol! 385 has a bit more warmth. It's more noticeable in sunlight.

I think both look good but I think 385 matches with your neck better. I thought I was going to have an issue finding a shade but luckily my shade 345 works in the powder too. It's a fabulous powder so there's no never no shame in having two because we must have options!!

I know the search for foundation is rough especially since I hate mixing foundations but the best matches are truly when you mix. Even if you mix a high end with a drugstore option.

You are my true shade twin and you are knowledgeable. Yes!!!!!! You are the reason I went to Sephora and found my CORRECT shade. I actually saw this before I saw your first one this morning using the 385. Thank you so much for helping as it was off at first a little bit on me. So thankful for you. The other shade looked good on you too, but this shade hits different.

I feel like I keep coming back to this same dilemma myself. Even in the sofe matte. I'm not buying another one unless I can test swatches in person (I don't live in a country that has the stores)... The consultant even tried to pair me with 360, but it leaned a tad ashy on me. Like you, I may need the 385 after I get some sun. I plan to use the Fenty for when I return to the office and maybe pick up the L' Oreal powder for everyday use. Thanks for the video.

That's exactly what I'm doing lol

The 385 is when you tan. The 370 is your natural color. It's February. So you should be 370 right about now and April if you're in Vegas or some hot sunny place you need a 385 if you're in a northern area you probably are 370 maybe as you now to 380 will end up to a 385 later on I might hit something slightly above that.

I did. I use 370 most of the year and reserve 385 for the summer if I get darker.

I think the "warmth" you are seeing in 385 is actually "too dark" for you. Maybe?

385 looks better - that 370 looks kindy ashy/too light on camera
