5:00 misplay. If you take the eiji out while hel end of turn is in queue and then the eiji split keeps turn the hel now goes to activate but still has to “check” that it is end of turn to meet the activation requirements and since it’s no longer end of turn hel effect will not go through until you do something else to pass turn.

Eot is a trigger, the card has activated so it must resolve. It's literally one of the main plays of the deck
