    @@vhrte49 Well, I'm not working on it at the moment, because now I'm working on a rally car, but that should be done in 2 to 3 months, and then it's the crawler's turn. 🙂

    Really intriguing! If you can modify the same chassis to accept a commercial 1/10 rally car body it will also be a winner.

    Thanks, Yes, that would be absolutely top, but because of the height of the shock towers, the body probably wouldn't fit there, anyway, now the plan is to make a rally car, so...:D

    Can't wait to print it, already have NOMAD and it's amazing, love to see that it's based on NOMAD chassis style. Also really glad that you switched to dogbone drive shafts instead of CV shafts

    :D Yes, I wanted to use the same material as on the nomad, just make everything smaller. Yes, if you drive this car to the edge, and I know that you will drive it to the limit, then Full Dogbones are the way :D

    This is on my list. I'm still breaking in (or is it breaking up?) the Ares. I've already switched to PETG for some of it's parts!

  • @PatrikJKS

    @PatrikJKS

    @@ripmax333 durability test very well, even if the fennec buggy is not a basher type, it can handle jumps quite well thanks to the combination of PETG material and TPU material, so overall it only has scratches and nothing broken yet.

    Hi, The buggy is finished, so I'm starting to work on the rally car (these things take some time, 2 and more months of designing, assembling, recalculating, finalizing, etc. it's not a fast process, but mostly a successful process :D)

    ... because it was not at full throttle and also only a 2s battery was used (not fully charged, my fault) and the smallest 17T pinion gear was used, I will definitely do a proper speed test with the GPS module with a 3s battery soon.
