I remember in 1991 when the Neighbor went from a 815 IH to a used 1460 I thought that was massive it the time! Lol

That unload auger is nearly 19" diameter. That is a very impressive combine and corn head. Head is doing a great job chopping the stalks. Great vid BTP

I previewed it at this year's Farm & Machine show and seeing it in action it doesn't disappoint! I would like to operate it but our 1600 acres is way too small for a class 9 combine. I am happy to see that it has similar features as the Red and Green ones such as Cab Corn. :-)

Cab Corn happens 😁. I don’t think a bin will ever be made large enough.

@@bigtractorpower Most of them are too large. We took the hopper topper off our Deere 9450 that a previous owner had installed on it because we noticed compaction problems in many of our fields, after moving to that machine from a Deere 4420.

When I was watching the golf cart come between the combine and the tractor I was like oh god this isn’t going to have a good ending it’s a good thing it has a really long logger so that has room for for it to fit I have to say that corn head look like it was doing the best job of all the combines I’ve seen on your channel this year very impressed

Mike Mitchell from up in Canada has some interesting videos on the Fendt, especially the one that burnt- but they addressed the issues

At the 4 minute mark you get a good perspective on how damn big that auger is. The chopping head sure does a great job on the stalks.

Europe is seeing bigger combines to handle big wheat crops. Good Wheat in the U.S. tops out at 100 bu and many regions don’t reach that. Corn and soybeans do not require the power of wheat. Europe’s Big yields in small grain require more hp.

Someday I’ll get out to see American agriculture. I’m Northern irish and we don’t see sights like this. Iowa fields are massive.

They AGCO has high standards for Ideal dealers. It’s 24/7 up time. If the combine is down the dealer has to bring you a replacement during the repair.

Absolute beast, i bet when that unload auger is at full unload she puts a huge amount of weight out the left side. pity it doesnt have the break-away that some have in their unload for transport and they could just put a boot on the end of the break.

750K $ for one combine, that was fast. You could buy 2 Gleaner S77 Combine for one of those Fendts but thats amazing of how much tech is in that thing. I thought %00K was alot for a Gleaner S97. Great vid as always!

It’s a big investment but only $77K more than John Deere’s biggest combine the S790 which is 400 bu and 543 hp.

Very nice footage of Ideal combine👍$750,000 then having pay more for Header front that’s a lot of money especially when I can get two with low hours CaseIH combines for that price. But it’s logistics I have trouble keeping up to Ideal combine, I would need chaser, at least 100+ tonne mother bin n two B double trucks to keep up in harvesting wheat.

Lots of considerations in running a combine. This combine had its auger our because as soon it emptied it was about full again in a few minutes. It takes carts and trucks to keep it rolling.

The Gator shows just how much space the auger leaves between the combine and grain cart. 50ft drapers are hitting the market and this big auger is needed.

back the 80's a IH915 with a 5-36 inch head would barely clear the cart tractor! Had to be in the row next to the head

My friend John filmed this video. He wanted to get in the cab but there already a rider and he had limited time. He did a great job but the filming did not go quite as planned. It was supposed to be sunny according to the weather forecast but it rained. He got their early to show the combine entering the field but even though the cart and trucks entered the field all at the main entrance the combine went to the other end to unfold the header and start. The videos always look good edited but there is often frustration while filming.

The video here is just over 10 minutes long, but I spent well over 5 hours just to get some decent video for this segment. During that time, the combine's buddy seat was filled the entire duration I was in the field. It is truly an amazing machine, and was worth the effort.

First thought: “Holy crap the auger length...”

The 8800 Claas is as big as we will see in the United States. The 8900 is built for high yield wheat in Europe.

Wow, $750,000 US is almost 1 million Canadian. I know of a huge farming operation in Saskatchewan that is using them. They own 4. You must really have to be a huge landowner to make them profitable or a custom harvester.

You need Big acres to run a combine like this. With the grain and corn heads this combine will list for over $1 million US. It gives a good return in moving the crop off in a hurry.

@@xSCHEF I have never heard of that. Some farmers keep their machines for 10-20 years and even longer. Leasing cars is almost or as expensive as just borrowing the money to buy one in Canada. Only advantage is you trade it in every 3-4 four years and get a shiny new one but own nothing, LOL. You don't have to pay for repairs on it.

I don’t know anything about corn because I farm is Saskatchewan Canada but I think you want corn to be in the 200 or higher right?
