I bought one hsh, honestly sound awesome for both modern and old school hard rock, fender somehow really nailed it at humbuckers.

Thank you for playing and letting us actually hear how it sounds! People spend so much time talking about the specs and only a minute playing that it actually makes me wonder if they know how to play. The sound is what I care about…we need more people to do demos where they just shut up and play! ROCK ON!!!
Nice demo. Really enjoyed your playing and tone!
Excellent demo! Thanks!🙏🎸
Awesome playing and backing tracks!
I just got this guitar and I absolutely love it. It feels amazing. And that riff with Clean Bridge + Muddle PU, I'll be learning that today, ty for that.
Thanks for sharing this video
Perfect demo!
Love that playing!
Sounds fantastic!
great demo ! also very veratile ! not only metal stuff and earbleeding gain noise but all styles ! great !!!!
In my opinion, every Fender, whether Strat, Tele, or Jazzmaster, sounds good, only when the guitar that has been ordered and seen in the video arrives does it sound 90% completely different than in the video. This is one of the problems why people are disappointed because it is almost always NOT mentioned what kind of amplifier or which speakers are used. A lot of the videos here are very well done and really great from Soend, but what's the point if I don't know everything which equipment has been used in the respective video. No wonder when many online retailers get their goods back because customers are disappointed with the sound. Maybe that should be changed. If there is a DEMO then it is all the equipment and not just the guitar.

Had one a couple of months now Lovely guitar
thinking of buying and putting 2 push pull pots in for the 2 humbuckers, so i can switch between a normal (sorta) strat, and this. think it will work? i haven't done anything like it before. either that or i'd just keep it how it is. it splits in positions 1 and 4.
What's the signal path for your guitar in this demo?
It's my favourite! A birthday gift strat from my wife!

If they had coil tapping and not just split coil in 2 and 4, it would be the most versatile guitar on the planet.

@@stephanematis Or the S1 switch that they had on some models.
Does it decrease the versatility of sounds because now the neck and bridge pickup are more similar? Especially when coupled with the middle pickup?
What amp and/or pedals are you using for this?
I love the warmth of the sound of those ceramic Alnicos. Call me crazy, but I like this better than the American-made counterpart. The fatter sound just pleases my ears more.
Do the humbuckers automatically split in the 2 and 4 positions?
I'm thinking of buying an American Professional or Ultra Strat. I definitely think I would have to have the HSH. I really don't like the standard Strat single coil sound. I feel like I should have a Strat in my arsenal of mostly Gibson LP(s) and Firebird.
As Maximus said, a great demo. Shows real versatility of sound. Only think I'm uncertain of is how well the clean sounds will cut through with a band in full flow. Turning the volume down or playing quieter cleans the sound up but also loses volume. Shame the humbuckers won't coil split as on the HSS strat - or do they?

tannertuner Lol underrated comment
I got the same one a few months ago but it came in with issues. Needs a small neck adjustment and I had to put on new Fender locking tuners because it wouldn't hold tune for anything. There's still a nut issue...the low E isn't cut low enough and the high E is ringing. I just used it again at yesterday's gig and I played it about 80% of the night. It's got some great tones so honestly the other issues are easy to get through. The sound makes it worth it.

Update on my post. I put locking tuners on, changed the string tree to a roller type, put block saddles on the bridge and decked the trem. Then I spent another $70 on having a luthier re-cut the nut slots, set pickup heights, straighten the neck to Fender specs and set up the guitar. At this point....it is one badass guitar and I'm bringing it to most of my gigs.
@steveyankees1

Brian LeBrun mine wouldn’t stay in tune. The high E string was catching in the nut slot. There must have been issues with the nut slots on some of the other strings because the guitar would not hold tuning. I had a custom bone nut installed and a professional setup. At some point I will change to locking tuners. Last night I realized the volume sucks!, Turn it down an immediately it loses treble. So back in the shop it goes for a treble bleed circuit. Also the volume pot has a ridiculously narrow range. 0-3 is barely audible. 10-8 barely changes volume. By the time it’s all done, I will have added $250-$300. A agree with you about the pickups. although I prefer a slightly brighter neck pup. Any recommendations? Of course this is simply a matter of preference.

@@steveyankees1 honestly I have no idea what would sound better since they're humbuckers....I always think single coils in a Strat. Everyone's ears hear different things. Right now I have a Carvin CT624 in the shop getting a new neck pickup, a Dimarzio Air Norton. They're supposed to be clearer and not mucky. If it works out I might try one in the neck and a Tone Zone in the bridge like my Carvin has now. My Nashville Tele is like your Strat...I turn it down and I lose everything so that's the next project but I usually run all my guitars wide open and control volume with a pedal.

A lot smoother than rosewood and not sticky like a lacquered maple neck. It feels closer to ebony.
