For me, the '58 Strat. The reason is easy. That guitar sounds awesome and 1958 is my Year of birth. She's looking good, a little relic, not to much. What I missed, the pinholeburns on the headstock. Watch the Strats from SRV and Eric Clapton in his early years. ☺☺ Meanwhile EC doesn't smoke anymore. 👍👍 all in all, good work from Fender. Greets and shine on and have a happy weekend

@@silviosantapaola2825 I would, if I could. I live in Texas. I looked their site, and all the web shops that carry their brand. The only guitars which are in stock seem to be in UK. Or at the manufacturer's workshop. Pete Thorn has one on tour with the Classic Rock Show at the moment, he plays The Who's songs with it. He was very positive about it.

The video states that the flowery one (72 slimline) is Heavy Relic but on the website the Heavy Relic guitars look far more beat up. Is this an error in the video? The guitar on the website is listed as "Limited Edition '72 Tele® Thinline Relic®." I ask not to nitpick but because we were considering one for purchase. Does the guitar come only in one state of repair as it's a limited edition or are there options? And if so is the one in the video a Relic or Heavy Relic? Thanks.

Fender, this is all nice. But how about making a strat with Danelectro lipstick pickups similar to SRV’s Charley guitar? Or atleast giving the option of having that as a custom option.

You can buy a 5K fender custom shop and get a bass you can't tell the difference between it and a fender off the wall at any store, Ibanez basses on the other hand, The hi end sr series (1600 up) and prestige series blow away fender in build quality, You get the highest quality hardware and electronics and the necks are so sweet!! And for the custom shop price you can get 3 beautiful basses!!
