Is the bone is solid inside or shell inside. If need to be solid for analysis please let me know how to do that.

Hello, I want to perform static FEA of broken fibula bone with Recon plate attached in the broken bone area. So,Where should I apply a load and where should I fix it.

Thanks for the great explanation. I think bone is not isotropic material or is it? Please explain

True it is anisotropic yet it is assumed isotropic for computational ease.

Hi, I am glad that you are making such an informational video and helping the community. But I would like to know is there any method through nonlinear static analysis to simulate the structural damage in the body due to compression load? please suggest

I have made videos on non linear analysis. You may refer them.

@@ProfSDBagg sure! But I want to simulate the fracture in the model that I am unable to find with the static structure. I know it can be done with the help of Ansys Dyna or Explicit dynamics but want to do with static structural. Would u please suggest if it is possible in ansys.

It is possible. Apply boundary conditions of non linearity

Hi, Hope you are well. Would I be able to use this model for FEA in my master's project? And how can I reference it? Thanks.

If grabcad can be used as your reference then you may. Ask your guide for it.

Is the bone material not a bit too heavy? density of water is 1 g/cm3 your bone has density 2000 g/cm3? 🤨
