Femke Bol Drops multiple HISTORIC records in 400 Meters hurdles | Shocks Everyone
#Femkebol - If there is any #trackandfield event this season that has experienced electrifying competition then it must be the women's 400 meter hurdles. And even though the queen of the hurdles, American Sydney McLaughlin has not participated in the event so far this season, one athlete just rose from nowhere to steal her glory. And that’s none other than Dutch star Femke Bol. See, one thing that makes Bol so special this season is the fact that she has gone completely undefeated over the event. Now, we may talk about all the events Bol has graced this season but the recently concluded London Diamond League is special… Bol just did something we've never witnessed in the #400meter hurdles world

Femke Bol came from "nowhere" this season? I seem to remember an Olympic bronze medal in 2021. That's hardly "nowhere". Also, second place in the world championships last year. With McLaughlin Levrone focusing on the flat, it was just expected that Femke would dominate the hurdles.
Agree Femke Bol do have potential to go sub51s and break Sydney's 400mh WR. Not likely this year but next Olympics year or at least challenge it within a few years!

When ever Sydney decides to return to the 400m hurdles she’ll bring looking to run under 50. That’s a level above Bol. Syd seems to be racing times, not opponents in the 400m hurdles.

@@csteverice Dream on! First Sydney doesnt decide but Bobby Kersee does. Second sub50s is impossable when she cant run sub48s on 400m at least. If she can break WR 47.6 than yes its possible but I dont see it yet. Its possible Femke could beat Sydney at next years Olympic 400mh. Lets go Femke!! 💪🇳🇱

Yes I agree. I pondered about it. I think she can run a world record at the 800. But that will take a few years. And at this moment she is still improving on the 400 m and 400 mh. That job is not over yet. Probably Sidney has more natural speed and Femke has more natural endurance. That's why the 400 flat and 400 hurdles are so exciting just now. Two differenst styles, two different ways of talent. And it all converges on the 400. These ladies will push eachother up.

The commentator on this video should learn to pronounce the full names of Femke and Sydney correctly. Without doing that, it makes me wonder what other information in the video is also not correct.

@@athletezoneowe r fans n we watch athletics. So U just put a collage together. It is apparent that U view these on silent. So here goes, Dutch does appear to not have diphthongs so one pronounces every syllable. With an Italian name , similar holds. Pronounce all syllables. If U watched European commentary, U'd hear . Learn the names: Athing Mu, Sydney McLaughlin Leverone, Marleidy Paulino, Gudaf Segay, Marie Josée TaLou, Adeleke... Bud U better bone up. There are a heck of a lot of names U have mispronounced!

@@athletezoneo "Bol" is like "Bowl" and "Femke" is like "Fem -ca" "Levrone" is like "lev" in "level"+ "rone" is like "roan" a grey color of a horse.

Although Femke won every 400 flat and 400 hurdles she lost her race over 200flat at the Dutch championship this year.

That was just a speed training for Femke. 200m is not a specialism of her, and she doesn't regularly compete on this distance.
Is 51:45 Bol's best time in the 400m hurdles? I'm just trying figure out how far she is from McLaughlin's 50.68..I'm thinking that like 4-5 strides?

Femke is a phenomenal talent, but not in the same league as Sydney just yet. Her merits are great on their own. You loose creditably implying she can challenge Sydney just yet.

I believe next year Femke can challenge Sydney at 400mh. It will be very close if both are in great form and put on fantastic race.

Of course, they are in the same league - The Diamond League. Of course when they are in the same race she can challenge her. Of course, Levrone no longer dares to race Bol in the hurdles.

@@efisgpr No if Sydney never competes (DL's 400mh) Femke cant beat her thats simple. Probably scared as hell! But I hope Sydney will at least compete at Olympic 400mh. She nreed new WR otherwise Femke might beat her.
Femke Bol did not come out of nowhere. She won the silver medal last year. Sydney broke the WR in the 400mH 3x and wanted a new challenge. she has beaten Femke at least 3x head to head. You people in the comments are uninformed.
