This song is an introvert's anthem. For example, when she says her circle of old friends is getting emptier, it may not be intentional pruning due to betrayal like you were thinking. It's more like losing touch through busyness, distance, death, etc, and not having the energy to create new ones because that process is draining for an introvert

Tati is an introvert. In the video, there's a direct correlation to the pressure she felt for procrastinating lyrics writing for the album to the last second. Her bandmates pursue her, pressure her. The bullets (sharp words) at them do nothing, but then she sees the wolves on the wall, realizes her defensive anger and her over-reaction in a situation she created ("turning mole hills into mountains"), and throws "her sand art" (metaphor for the lyrics they want) at the band and they go away. Tatiana is the the wallflower. She is an introvert. You would never know it to see her on stage. She bounces around on stages with more square footage than the first floor of my house but when she is off stage she's quiet and withdrawn. So when the band was on her about finishing the lyrics for the album she just wanted to be alone and chill so this song is about that. Hence why she goes "John Wick" on the band in the video. Call me a Symbol would be a good one to react to. In an interview Tatiana said that she would mind being a pop star diva for a day just to know what it's like. Call me a Symbol is about being that diva.

Their video producers betray cinematic ambitions. Or maybe they make movies I've never heard of and do videos on the side for all I know. This whole album is awesome. No weak songs just pure brilliance.

I was all prepared to explain why her bandmates are chasing her, and why she tries to kill them (who gave Tati uzis anyways? Lol) but the comments section knows the score. The sand painting box represents her lyrics. They want her art. They finally go away and leave her alone when she throws the sand painting at them. I only know this from her interview from Charismatic Voice. This one is my favorite, it might be their most subtle song. Great reaction!
