You're right! I left school at 15, did a 5 year HGV mechanic apprenticeship then got my licence asap! I drove all over Europe and that training saved my bacon (and my boss's wallet!) many times! 😊

Looks like Feminists have had to acknowledge they are not the equal of men after all ! Their association has had to climb down since Ukraine, because the women there, have retreated away from the troubles and taken their children with them. Women are not capable of armed combat and have a general lack of ability with engineering, usually , literally throwing a spanner in the works. I don't know how men put up with having to repeatedly explain matters to them. I have often wondered why on earth women were allowed into the universities in the first place !

🤣🤣🤣 nice. SOME women are capable of combat and firearms etc, SOME women are actual real life mechanics and strong enough too. If I dedicated my whole life just to that I’m sure I’d ace it. Anywhoo to each is own; have a lovely weekend 😄

First time i lifted the cab I thought I would have to phone the boss saying "the cab has hit the floor" the last bit when it drops had me in a right panic. Good that your getting the work done and hopefully many trouble free miles ahead of you Lena.

@@LenaTrucker I spent some time in a main Volvo Truck & Bus dealership and one thing they always repeated - "If it isn't broken, don't fix it!" But that never made any sense to me! Why wait until you're stranded on a road somewhere loosing money??? Weird philosophy, but great trucks and busses!

Oh definitely, surely if you see it warn must be time to change or at least keep an eye on it otherwise not only you’d be loosing days work but also wages for a driver to sit and wait for recovery or call out 🙈 im with you on that one 👌🏻

@@LenaTrucker No , unfortunately she isn't very famous yet, things are difficult there obviously. She was placed in an orphanage at 3yo after her mum left her at a bus stop in winter with a broken collarbone. She started singing at 5yo as a way to learn to speak again. 1 year later at 6yo, she gave her first solo stage performance! She is a natural dramatic contralto voice, very deep! She speaks like any other 18yo, but when she sings - WOW! She's got over 500 or so excellent performances on her YT channel, check them if you like her voice? ДианаАнкудинова

Not sure that Volvo really thought the location through very well when you have to disassemble half the truck to swap out a pump. Surely putting it at the back of the cab like the Japanese and American trucks makes more sense. Good job doing your own work, Lina. Really helps to have that in-depth knowledge of your own truck. Maybe you need a t-shirt with legs sticking out from under the Volvo with the caption "I do all my own stunts". Cheers from Australia!

What a great video and it was very interesting and how big job it was to put new your new part to tilt the cab forward and also putting your new filters on aswell it's going to be like new once it's all done it was nice that you took it for a drive aswell I will look forward to your next video

Thank you John, looks like just another part swap and is already visible to the naked eye so I think it’ll be easy enough. However when we were changing tyres hubby says it sorted itself out but he’s not getting his hopes up just yet - time will tell. Thank you !!

I do hope you bought that cheap as the amount of defects are mounting up. The cab jack not working would have worried me as to how long it had been like it ?? When was the last time it was serviced properly ? Good luck

Well it just passed mot so would have been serviced prior to that. All those defects are quiet small in comparison like he says he’s just mean over zealous and we have the time to tinker with it so why not ;)

No lol mechanics don’t need to use a taco card unless they taking lorry out for road test. And I’ve not driven anything for over a week lol

Great video Lena Would you do me a favor & ask your husband his honest opinion of the MAN D26 engine? That engine was introduced here in the US a couple years ago, we bought a new truck with the A26 engine it's the same as the D26 in Europe. Now be careful you don't chip a (Like Share Subscribe) finger nail. LOL Trippi in Utah

All that just to get to the cab pump . Poor design on the manufacturer's part really. Never had that hassle on the older trucks . So called progress i guess .
