I always felt "Fell On Black Days" was a little bit "bluesy" in some way, maybe the voice full of darkness in a beautiful melody like the first pioners of blues like Robert Johnson (a similar vibe), and just a guitar on clean input playing all that needs (a riff made from a pentatonic scale). You taked this and put your sign with a "country" voice, what got very well and coincidently, fell like a glove! Congrats, man. Chris is my biggest influence too.

I feel like "When I'm down" could quite possibly be one of the most underrated or overlooked performances in music. Him doing that with the solo piano proved how amazing his vocal range and soul really was.
