Red Bull SŌLUS is BACK and BETTER than ever!
Ryan Sheckler has once again opened the doors to his skatepark and invited 17 of the world’s most well-rounded skateboarders to battle it out in year two of Red Bull SŌLUS. Each skater has one hour to put together their best line at The Sandlot; no crowd, no other skaters, no distractions - just an internal battle to get the best line possible.
Perfection is the word that comes to mind when watching Felipe Gustavo skate. He is the technician of precision. His flip-in and flip-out game is what dreams are made of. His skating is always easy on the eyes and is always in line for the win.
Felipe skates for adidas, Red Bull, Plan B, Venture, Bones Wheels, FKD Bearings, Diamond, Ethika, and JWLXCO.
Our judges, Vanessa Torres, Mike Sinclair, and Jason Rothmeyer, will evaluate each video based on style, progression and creativity. Following the judges announcement, you will have a chance to vote on your favorite video part and the fan favorite will be announced on October 26th.

Impressive that he was one of the few who completed his line considering his level of tricks
"Three tricks on the hubba...hey man, I'm not gonna learn to skate quarter pipes right now yah feel me?" Ahahahahaha, I feel you.
A true Pro, the beginning where he just starts smashing out tricks, if he missed any, bit of wax here and there, 2nd try nailed. Impressive.

Tec Monster up there on the highest skill level but leaves a lot of that park untouched. Have to second the VanVark testament. speed power & some tech sprinkled in, on & around. Both are more fun to watch in natural environments.

Need to add him to my board collection wall. Always had mad love for him!!

pros wax all like crazy cuz they are not stupid with the mindest of "go faster" cuz yeh you eat shit faster

Felipe always surprises me with his ability... It looks too easy for him, for real! Sickest dude too, he replied to me on IG one time. Seems like a humbled, genuine man, just doing his thing.
Felipe might get my vote just because of how smart he was. He had a strategy. Wax everything bc he knows himself, started working on his line pretty immediately (wasn’t distracted by the novelty of the park) stayed to his hardest but still stock tricks (“I ain’t gonna learn how to skate transition right now!” Should be able he dash quote🤣) and he gave himself options. He has one hard line, did it, then gave himself an option of a harder one if he had time. That’s just intelligence in a competition that I must admit I’m surprised more skaters don’t utilize

I liked Foy, as he used more park and had a longer run, but I 100% see here you are coming from. Tavo had harder tricks no doubt. Good vibes to you 100

It's unfortunate that every contest seems to value going big more than technical ability because this run had a skill level off the charts.

what? name one.. slow tech is always scored higher than speed+big+flow, just look at they robbed luan for years... . or even more: Prod runs: stops after every trick, doesnt do a trick on the halfpipe, does half the amount of tricks other skaters do, still get scored high.
