As a person who can speak both Cebuano (a.k.a Bisaya), and Tagalog, I can say that I am grateful for them in letting Ken do this music, and song in our language from Central and South of the Philippines. Cebuano is the other major language in the Philippines too, and Ken showcasing our other language is a wonderful thing. The song lyrics is painful, and it hits home, how he uses "Balak" a type of poetry in Cebuano language. This song hits differently as well, because it makes me proud to be someone who is a native speaker of Cebuano language. Tagalog language sounds really sweet, and Cebuano sounds angry, (if you are someone who cannot understand both languages), but Ken made it sound so smexy and melting. Trust me, I know what I am talking about. I know a lot of Cebuano songs, but it doesn't sound like this. Now that I remember, I don't think I have heard a rnb/rap style Cebuano music, or I am just ignorant.. hahaha.. But I am glad you guys like this. Cheers.Oh and PALAYO means Stay away. It's pronounce Paa-laa-yo (yo will have a short stop, like you suddenly hand break a car, yo(.) not yooh or you). Cheers. XD
