    I ve been cubing for 1 day, 21 hours 4 minutes and 46 seconds. My main is a Moyu Aolingdong and I average about 23.6396275493 seconds, is that good?

    I always agree with feliks. What he says is true about being able to solve it in about a minute only a couple of weeks to a month after starting. it took me a week and a half to average a minute fifteen seconds on a dry, unlubed cube.

    Well, Zhanchi is the best cube right now. At least imo...I hear the new rubik's speedcube is pretty good for cornering and decently fast. Might be worth looking into and seeing out good it would be when it's properly lubed.

    Cory McNevin yeah iv heard good things about v2 but v1 is all time fav I never liked the feel of a zanchi or weilong the fangshi v1 is just my cube :)

    I've been cubing for about a month and a half and I've been using Two-look OLL and PLL... and beginner's F2L and have been getting ~45 seconds. I'm now moving on to advanced f2l but feel like it's not doing much... what's the fastest method to solving f2l?

    Along with the above tip (yes, I know I’m several years late), also buy a good cube and possibly lube it to help with its performance (like not buying a Rubik’s brand and instead getting a decent cube)

    @FlipAndLand Well, the "Gee" at the beginning sort of sets the tone. And the use of all capital letters also helps. You say you can't detect tone from reading? Ask any writer, I can guarantee they'll tell you differently.

    Wow.... I have been solving (not cubing) for about 1 year, then, I got into cubing. Well, after my transition from beginners to CFOP, My times have been going to about 25 seconds from the 1 minute it usually took me. But dang, how did you get to sub 15 in 9 months?! Do you know full OLL and PLL? Or do you use a different method?

    I do layer by layer method, best i've gotten is 28 seconds. I'm too lazy to learn Fridrich lol. I decided instead to self teach myself the 4x4, 5x5, and 6x6.

    he's talking about his walkthrough solves :)) They're only easy and understandable if you know CFOP well and if you're experienced with it. (in my opinion)

    @Richardtola1 Well. I've finished my F2L, and have started on some simple and common OLL and PLL's. Hard stuff, but is sure paying off. SUB-13 to SUB-16 is a good speed! Keep it going!

    It is correct Feliks that everyone can solve a Rubiks Cube when getting taught well... It isn't correct that everyone can solve a Rubiks Cube that fast when getting taught well. I started to learn F2L about 4 days ago, and have almost learned all the algorithms, with no changes in my sub... Oh wait, I broke my record and got a new one! 41.44 seconds...

    I've been doing it for 2 years now, and my best is 24 seconds. My best a few months ago was 38 seconds, but now I average 36. If you can't seem to break through the wall, get a new cube. I recommend. that you get a Dayan ZhanChi Stickerless.

    with enough use and maybe some lube, any cube can be "fast" when it comes to turning the different faces, but yeah, storebrand rubik's cubes lock up so much.
