Overall a good video, which helped me understand a few things. For future videos, I suggest thoroughly learning all the functions so you can instruct us what they are, rather than saying you don't know what something does.

Absolutely. It'll handle the zv10 with ease and with the kit lens or any of the electronic ones you'll be able to fully control all the features from the handset.

Great review cheers! Quick question - Can you set any of the buttons to zoom? I want to be able to freely zoom in and out and can’t find any information on this anywhere!

I believed it's entirely dependent on the camera. In mine for example no as they're manual zooms, it would need to be one of the newer electronic zoom lenses like Sony's

Hi im struggling to set this up - the camera motor vibrates very badly when setting up i have all the lock unlocked and it cant move to check motor. Also where do we put the wires? and whats their purpose?

If the motor is vibrating the camera is either too heavy or unbalanced. What's the camera body and lens combo and what weight? My RP with adapter and 24-105f4L for example is borderline weight wise and with the adapter quite long so if I'm not balanced precisely it will vibrate a little when tilted forward. The wires allow you to control some of the camera functions but it depends on the camera precisely what. For example if you have one of the latest Sony mirrorless you can zoom, focus and all manner of things. You'll need to find your camera connector type then try each port to see which works. With the canon RP I can start and stop recording and not a lot else but generally it's not a problem for what I do.

Looking at the specs it should do easily. Bear in mind you will upset the balance if you zoom as that either changes the lens length or element placement internally

Thank you sir for the video, this is the best scope C balancing video tutorial ever. I got i problem with mine, whenever i turn on Vertical mode my gimbal start acting weirdly and a viping sound and turn back to default mode automatically. I’m wondering if you have any fix for that 🙏

It sounds like a balance related problem, are you using a long lens or have a very offset from centre tripod mounting?

@@spidiq8 Thank you so much for the reply🙏 it was my bad. imi rewatched you video and this time instead of following the steps with my brain turned OFF😂 i did listen to your instructions, and it was the arm that allowing the camera to swing, i wasn’t balancing it well. I don't see why it wouldn't be. As long as you don't plan to switch cameras and lenses then any gimbal which supports the weight will work

For those wondering about the A and B buttons.. Those are what I call "action buttons.". So let's say you're doing real estate and you need to do a pan and tilt up as you do your push ins... you turn the camera where you want it positioned by the time you finish your push in, and press and hold the (A). Now that position is remembered and this bad ass thing has a preview so you can see it in action to know it works! .. Sam goes for B as well for whatever position you want. That's the tracking points too on the app. Set how you want your camera and press the plus button and you got tracking points. This gimbal I ordered the day before yesterday. It's a commercial beast I know it and I will be using it really soon!

I had a tough time following your instructions because your camera is so far away from the action and what you are doing. There is so much seen around you. It makes it difficult to discern which button you are touching and which knob you are turning.

This is why I showed close ups of the buttons etc, there aren't very many and i'm a lone enthusiast with a camera, not a crew like the flashy camera review people.

I hate this gimbal. Mine just shakes and isn’t smooth at all.

It's most likely not correctly balanced if it shakes. It's critical with any motorized gimbal to balance the camera and lens in the configuration you'll use it. e.g. if I use my camera body with screen flipped out and a 24-105 lens at 24 it needs to be balanced in that config with card and battery + mic etc attached. Alter the balance after and it will throw a fit. I've done this when I've balanced and then opened the screen afterwards. You can also adjust the motor strength in the app and sometimes with a heavier camera/lens combo it can overcompensate the necessary motor power leading to a very brief vibration when you move from final upright to forward.

@@axisproductionsltd Have you tried contacting the provider? I haven't used a camcorder in years but know they used to vary in size and weight a lot but I've used the scorp with an EOS M, EOS 650D and EOS RP with some heavy lenses on the latter. The only thing I've needed to adjust is the motor strength down slightly on the app with an EF 24-105f4L which is a very front heavy lens.
