I relate to this song. Not because my parents are abusive, but the sound just emulates the feeling of repressed anger, then finally snapping.

Not to flex or anything but this song pushed me out of a major depressive slump and that "you are loved" part is so fuckin addictive hearing it after it all, love ya FEIN.

this song hits so close to home but i really love it! it gave me a whiplash when i first heard it but i enjoy it daily now

This feels like it's directed at me lol... Almost done university, getting a degree in history and philosophy... No idea what I plan to do after... So much of this is just accurate aside from the fact that I don't do drugs and don't do piano (though I did do violin a bit for a little while) it's more like I play on my PC... I'd be tempted to show this to my father like "It's just like you and me!" but I feel like that'd just be rubbing salt in the wound... Especially with the line about retirement and dying before seeing me work... I mean, probably not the case, but may be the case... Plus every conversation we have about future plans about my career path don't really go anywhere... Every decision seems like either I don't feel like I'd be good at it for one reason or another (perhaps doing it may just seem anxiety-inducing to me or like with writing I just have a hard time committing to it for long enough) or I just don't want to do it out of a lack of passion for it... Or a combination of that...

Wow FEiN, this song is amazing! The guitar riffs are incredible, and the "you were loved" part has been looping in my head for days. It paints an accurate picture of the current intergenerational conflict, and it's almost exactly how my parents used to talk to me. It hit me hard, yet provided subtle reassurance that I'm not the only one with a family that acts like this.

A friend of mine introduced you guys to me when your most popular song had no more than 10k listens on spotify. and now me and him are very happy to see you guys getting more and more attention
