Feelworld F6 Plus VS. Osee Lilmon 5 - Camera Monitor battle

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The popular Feelworld F6 Plus goes head to head with the new Osee Lilmon 5 in this comparison.
We look at features, handling, latency and the overall performance between these two on camera monitors. They currently both sells for $189 which might not be a fair price for one of these as we'll discover in this test. We also settle the dispute on whether the F6 Plus is a 6 or 5.5" monitor.

If you're looking for a camera monitor for your dslr and mirrorless camera in this price range. Both of these are great options. However, given the same/similar price of these. I would have to declare the Lilmon 5 the winner because of its 1000 nits display vs. 500 nits on the Feelworld F6 Plus along with features such as presets, Lut intensity slider and more on the Lilmon 5.
If the Price on the Feelworld F6 Plus where to come down a bit - it would be an even stronger competitor to the Lilmon 5. Especially for people on a small budget or those only planning on using the monitor indoors where screen brightness isn't as crucial.

Can you play back footage on an external monitor? If so, will it play back slow motion?

Yes you can, definitely one of the benefits. You or your clients being able to review the shot after the take. The clip will playback at the same speed it would on your camera screen. Some recording modes are slowed down in camera, others require you to slow down the footage when editing.

At 3:35 that's my friend Jon, not sure what model that was. But I know he wasn't happy with it and recently switched bag. I'm using this one amzn.to/3Jhwxh6 In case that one was in the video as well.

You probably should've compared it to the Feelworld F5 ProX. It's 1600nits.

"Even Nikon" ... you can choose HDMI resolution on Nikon since 2012... native clean HDMI out. But i understand, Nikon is primary a Photo camera and always late in most aspects. Nice video, i am looking for a F6 to my GH5's.

🤣 A bit of an inside joke. A friend who at the time shot video with his D750 and was very unhappy with the whole experience ;) On another note, I wouldn't recommend the F6 today. There's a couple of monitors that cost about the same that are newer and brighter like the Viltrox DC-550 which is 1000 nits. I made a video on it a while ago.

@@ThomasFransson I get it the joke 😜... I'm looking for monitors for my Multicam GH5 setup.. with DC out(7.2-8.4).. one AC adapter for entire setup and the F6 cost half of the price of viltrox here. thanks for advice.

Sounds like you will be shooting indoors? In that case the lower brightness of the F6 will work quite fine. That or getting a cheap old computer monitor if it's mainly for checking framing and focus if you don't need the onboard tools. In my studio I use a 5.5" monitor but I've been thinking about getting a computer monitor instead of that tiny screen ;)

the difference between the 2 models is that V2 has USB-C power. A great option when you do stationary corporate shoots
