I find it interesting how different it is over there in England than it is here in Australia, my senior cricket team is made up of mostly guys from one family so the banter constant but the banter in your videos is quite tame compared to ours

It’s a lovely ground at Escrick. Played there years ago for Yorkshire Taverners against the Yorkshire Gents. Loads of lovely grounds in the York area as well so worth a little trip round

Great to see this one against my other Gents side! Played in this fixture many times! (Used to be a 2-dayer) Yorkshire Gents are I believe the only Gents side with its own ground and was formed when the professionals in Yorkshire formed the County Club and the gentlemen amateurs formed the Yorkshire Gents. Great history and terrific characters! Thanks Gareth.

8:55 got to say the run out was 100% on him! Here’s an example of why…you hit the shot and make the call, and he’s way too busy ball watching, so you miss out on a run 9:13 here he is doing exactly the same again…ball watching, and not listening to the call. This time it costs you your wicket

5th Game as opener First game 9 (5) Second game 32 (30) Third game 30 (28) Fourth game DNB fifth game. I went in with a goal to survive as this week I was batting number 3. I ended up with 23 (30) not out. I was happy with this score but I need to learn how to be more aggressive and how to smash the ball without getting out. Next week I want to score with a higher strike rate.
