    If the moments of my life were spread out on this giant roulette wheel and my choices were: 1... Keep on spinning or 2... land anywhere and go from there... I would be grateful to land in a high/clear place in my life but if I were dropped anywhere in my lifetime, I would have the best go of it, even if things seem sucky. I try to remember that

    This perspective is at the core of mindfulness meditation. The purpose of the meditation is the practice itself - to deepen your ability to experience each moment as fully as possible. The goal is NOT to feel positive feelings, nor is it to gain new insights about yourself. The less judgement and preference that you attach to positive vs. negative experiences, the "better"
