Absolutely adore your videos! I feel so lucky and, in fact, privileged to have stumbled on your link and have had the opportunity to join you on your journey and adventures. I love your country and I find that the way that you present it has inspired me to nudge it higher on my bucket list of places to visit. This particular video, like the others I have watched, put me in a positive energy zone...and I thank you for that. The silence that you afforded us, the viewers, as you sat outside and listened to the birds and bees was very powerful for me. Sometimes the ability, or innate sense, to not speak but rather allow the moment to carry us to a different dimension is so underestimated. Many videographers and bloggers lack the confidence to do that but you did it perfectly here. It's a natural talent that allows it to be seamless and without pretension. Thanks for the lovely video, I could relate to so much of what you talk about. I live in Sweden at about the same latitude, so our winter was similar and I soaked up those warmer days as well. And even though it got colder again and even stayed white for a day this week, it feels as if that was the final goodbye of a long winter. I actually love the snowy season and don't get tired of it that easily but at some point I really long for spring and for the days when I can sit outside as long as I like and not get cold or wet. Your trip to the coast and to Gaustatoppen really inspired me. I feel similar about the sea and even though I am certainly a forest creature and love to hide away as well, the openness of the coast and wild dance of the sea really envigorates me. I am originally from Switzerland and even though I rarely think of the mountains, the images of the snowy tops touched something in me. Well, it`s a seven hour drive, but I might take a roadtrip there sometime. Are those highest mountains white in summer as well? Wishing you a wonderful spring! 🥀🌻 Karin

Such a beautiful video Maria - you kept saying how all over the place it was but honestly as a viewer it didn't feel that way at all and flowed beautifully! Beautiful editing, shots, stories! I can totally relate thought because when I'm editing I also do the same thing... haha :) There are so many things that as a creator I am aware of or worried about with a video that truly, no one else notices. I feel the same way about being able to finally sit on the ground once Spring arrives - so many special moments this time of year. Sending love from my corner to the world to yours!

I love your cat! Next time you go away for weeks to teach I'll come and take care of him and house sit! 🙂 You may think your video was "all over the place" but as you also said, that is just life! It didn't seem disjointed... just like we were following along with what was going on with you. That trip up the mountain with your friend was amazing! So much of Norway that I have not seen. And thanks also for sharing some of the history - like that of Rjukan. It seems like your weather has been very much like mine where I am in Canada. We also have had warm and even hot days, followed by snow and cold. It seemed like spring would never come. I had big mounds of snow where it fell off my metal roof in front and in back of my cabin. The front only melted yesterday after two nights of rain, and there is still some in the back. So I know how you feel. I hope you have a fantastic spring. I look forward to your podcast and your next video!

Well the snow is finally melting, though it is has become cool again most days, and cold at night. I live in the very south of Germany and it is so cold and snowy here. Next month I will be moving to Norway and your videos have helped me decide where to go. I’m glad that you’re feeling better and that spring has finally come. We’re having a cold, snowy and late start to spring too. I also got sick on my return home from a month of traveling in Norway. I think I would have recovered faster if we had spring. Unfortunately, the forecast is still for cool, wet weather. I know exactly what you mean about the dry ground, it’s so exciting when you can sit outside.
