Considered one of the best interpreters of the ancient art form of Bharata Natyam Rama Vaidyanathan has evolved her own individual style with a very unique thought process and a fresh approach to dance that is deeply rooted in tradition. She brings to her dance, a rare sense of devotion and dedication, which leaves the audience with a sense of spiritual fulfillment.
Rama Vaidyanathan is a leading exponent of Bharatanatyam and is one of the most sought after artistes of her generation. She has trained intensively under the legendary dancer Yamini Krishnamurthy and the renowned Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan. From rural Indian schools to the World Music Institute in New York, her performances around the globe have earned her critical acclaim from renowned critics. To help create an interest for Bharatnatyam in today's generation she also performs regularly for SPIC MACAY.
