Really neat. My kids got few tadpoles from the girls in our neighborhood and they've been living off the algae in a tank. I'll have to try giving them fish food and see if they take it.

Looks like the tadpoles are growing well. I love your mini ponds. I have a small pond a bit larger than your biggest one on my 10 acres, but it's not close to the house. I would love to create a mini pond closer to the house. The amphibian chorus is wonderful this time of year...the spring peepers, toads, grey tree frogs, and others make some pretty cool night music. And the fireflies are starting to come out. Moonlit nights, sparkling fireflies, and a frog chorus sounds like heaven on earth to me. I love Springtime in the northeast! Thank you for sharing your little paradise with us. Your efforts are appreciated by many.

When I was a kid we used to fill mason jars with tadpoles from the ditches and swamps. We never fed them and always lost interest in them after a couple hours, but we never returned them to their water. Watching your videos I now feel terrible regret for the thousands of lives I ended. Thank you for raising awareness and saving lives.

Love the frog updates. I like the shorts too. If I were to make a suggestion: it would be nice if you said the date at the start of the shorts (which you do often, but not in always). The reason is after watching four or five little shorts, it’s hard to tell if I’m seeing it in order or if one is older than the other. Just a little potential for confusion if you see the new one before the older one. Also it would make it easier to identify if one has watched it already. Anyway, that’s my $0.02. Thanks for making all these great videos!

Your best bet with the shorts is to just chop up something from your normal videos. Like a 30 second short taken from here of you putting the food in, the tadpoles coming up, then a few minutes later with a bunch of them up. Can post it along side the video it came from. This way your normal audience gets a video like this, and you still dip your foot in the Shorts arena with minimal effort and everyone is happy :)

I couldn't tell what you were looking at when you were telling us about the "water skimmers" that kill mosquito larvae even if they're not hungry. Are you talking about those long leggedy bugs, with two legs up front and two legs going back (looks like), kinda look like an "X"? We call those "water skippers" out here, and I had no idea they killed mosquitos! I did know they bite, little buggers, lol!
