Strangely enough, these videos help my arachnophobia so much, even though they are quite violent with their attacks. I have been scared of spiders since I was a little kid, and would cry if they got anywhere near me. Thanks to these videos, I am actually able to look at certain spiders without freaking out, and was able to hold a deli cup with a young tarantula in it at a reptile expo I went to. I'm still scared of spiders with longer, skinnier legs though, as there is just something about them that gives me the creeps. But I'm finally able to see that tarantulas are actually quite beautiful from a distance. Not sure I'd want to handle them outside of an enclosure, and I would probably not be able to keep them as pets, but my new found appreciation for these creatures definitely isn't unwelcome. So, thanks a bunch for your unintentional help!
