Deerfield’s refurbished Thunderbolt running after making a switch to chopper 4. Sounds like their firehall 1000T. I was also with @fandude2246 for this test. Severe thunderstorms blew the head about 45° counterclockwise about a week ago and now there’s a noticeable sway in the horn when it rotates. Heard some pitch fluctuations too. Tim has been notified. Hopefully these things can get fixed soon.
Deerfield’s sirens also ran twice. One for countywide at 1 PM and another for Deerfield only at 1:20 PM. The Deerfield only test was developed and conducted by @Tigers9596 with a handheld radio and all sirens activated except for this one. Not bad for a first test with only a handheld radio indoors! I went to the 4004 for the second test and it sounded! Video of that coming soon!

Thank you! Yeah! Pretty deep for this chopper level. I can only imagine what chopper 1 must sound like lol.

@@joelrobinsonwxsrnisn’t this a 3 phase working on single phase? If so that couldn’t explain why it sounds like chopper level 3 rather than the sound of the chopper level it’s supposed to sound like.

Sounds like level 2 lol. I guess it runs on lower voltage or something…great video tho!

Yeah definitely! With this siren being single phase, it makes the siren’s chopper speed a bit slower than a 3 phase, so chopper 4 sounds a bit deeper.
