Yes!, those Thunderbolts are awesome!, much better than the newer ones, they stand for authority like no other siren can! Love that start and stop "growl!"

to stand up for the little white model 7 fairwell to that. but thunderbolts rule....and wow that thunderbolt would make the people during midnight have a heart attack XD sounds creepy

Federal Signal totally outdid themselves with those Thunderbolt 1000 sirens. That "attack" wail will get the undivided attention of any American over 40 years old.

The modal 7 is being preserved along with one of the fire departments old fire engines that they got around the same time as the mod 7

i know i'm seven years too late, but that isn't a federal signal model 7a that's a fedelcode model 7a

It us both that are making sound but it is the white one followed by the yellow Thunderbolt

that's a model 5A because model 5 sirens have slow windups and model 7 sirens have fast windups
