Federal Signal Model 5AT Tornado Siren Test | Full Alert | Madrid, IA
Ғылым және технология
Third time's the charm in Madrid! SiraTrols are hit and miss, but give them time they'll come to life! Nothing really noteworthy here again, but The B700 is back kicking so B-roll is a thing again, albeit the 540's moving this time. I tried something different with the thumbnail this time around, feedback is always appreciated!

Both are 9/12 port
I think that's actually a Model 7AT. It has a pretty fast windup and it has a pretty big housing where the lower hood is a little bit larger. It's a little too big to be a Model 5

As far as I know, you can't determine 7s and 5s by housing. However, you may be on to something with the wind up.

Nope these are Model 5s. Model 7s were dropped before the name change in 1975, and the ID tag on this unit says "Model 5AT".
