Federal Signal Model 2T Siren Test - Town of Wilson, WI

The other week I drove over to the Town of Wilson for my 3rd attempt at recording their Model 2T. My first encounter with this siren was way back when I first became a siren enthusiast. When I attempted to record this siren then, it did not activate. We later found out that at the time the siren did not have a radio. In 2017 we discovered that the siren had gotten a radio so in early 2018 I attempted to record this siren again but to no avail. After talking to some of my friends on the fire department there, I found out that the radio was fixed and was now working again. Up until this point, we did not know if this siren was a Model 2 or 2T so when it fired up it was quite the surprise that it was a Model 2T. You may be thinking that they had bought this siren around the same time Sheboygan bought their Model 2's but as you can see that this is a Federal Signal Corporation Model 2T so it was produced after the name change. At the end of the video, you can see that a school bus was parked at the park which ended up being nice because it was able to block some of the wind noise. Anyway, nothing too special, it is great to see that Sheboygan County still has a Model 2T active. Thanks for watching please rate, comment, and Subscribe!

Sounds like an aca hurricane or a 4/5 port thunderbolt on chopper level 5.

Anyone notice how much it sounds like an 8/10?
Grew up in Brownstown, Lancaster County, PA, and West Earl Fire Co. had one of these. I think they still do.
Those model 2T's tho. I mean they sound pretty good in my opinion.
