It was a pretty wet first Wednesday and we weren't sure who was gonna test so we just decided to go to a siren in our hometown. Ever since Fairborn we've just been realizing how loud 508s are lol. Enjoy!! - Dominic & Jeremy
Butler County tests their sirens on the first Wednesday of the month at noon.
This siren is located off University Blvd next to Sojourner Recovery Services
Exact location: 39.381769,-84.561291

Very nice
Those controllers are up there, just be glad it ain’t like Jefferson County, AL where they have controls on their 2001SRNs mounted almost as high as the head itself. Nice video!

for some reason, all of Hamiltons newer federal sirens have their controls decently high up, always wondered why
Nice!
this shot😩
I've heard Hamilton has three or four 508s. I have only seen this one and the one at Ridgeway elementary school

they have three, University Blvd (this one), Ridgeway elementary school, and Joe Nuxhall Blvd.
I wonder how the screen got ripped 🤔

Agreed. They are super directional too, very similar to a Thunderbolt. They are very quiet when they point away, but then get ungodly loud when they face you. They always shake the ground 100 feet from them and all 508s I heard made me cover my ears too when they face me. Too bad their design isn’t too good. However, the Equinox is the same thing but better. Although I think Equinoxes are a bit less directional but can’t say for sure as I never heard one
That cut screen tho
