Except for the part where he made it sound like BTC Bitcoin can arbitrarily be removed from a wallet by the government. They recovered the ransomware from a centralized exchange, not a wallet. It is important to understand the difference.

I have bad news for you: India, China, and Iran all banned Bitcoin in the last month. One third of the population of the entire world just got closed out of Bitcoin. They like gold though, they all want that. The only ignorant ones are BTC bulls saying "store of value, digital gold" when BTC just lost 50% of its value in a month. Completely indefensible. If you want great gains from a highly speculative asset, Dogecoin outperformed Bitcoin over the last 12 months.

Did they? I missed that news over the last few years. I'm not ignoring crypto but I won't buy BTC or any of the altcoins until the technicals show that we have hit a bottom. That is likely another 10k down from the current valuation for BTC. We could be two years away from the next bull run. Don't overexpose yourself to the downside risks of the next three to six months in crypto. Meanwhile there are good values to be found in commodities.

For me personally, a man is free as soon as he understands serfdom of FIAT money.

Bitcoin is a public ledger anyone can see the transactions. As far as someone taking it from you . They can’t as long as you store it on a cold storage device. Nano ledger or ledger x …..

Silver is still cheap simply because 99.98% of humanity do not want to own any serious amount of it. 0.1% have some small amounts 50 to 200 oz. This means 99.88% do not have any investment silver
