Neat video. The Dime lives on my car keys alongside a RovyVon Aurora A1 both black and attached with black micro S-Biners by Niteize. I still can't come to terms with having everything in a pouch though... most of my EDC is in my pockets and fairly streamlined with no unnecessary stuff. If I was to carry 'knucks', they would be in my jacket pocket so if I needed to use it in self-defence, it would be easily accessible. Maybe this isn't the reason people carry them but for me, I just don't was to carry anything that doesn't serve a purpose in every day use. The Gerber Dime is a funny one, the nail file is a joke but the bottle opener, box cutter, sheepsfppt blade and scissors are all handy, as are the small spring-loaded pliers for small tasks. Theres also some handy tweezers which always get forgotten about in a lot of videos but if you don't carry an SAK, these are very useful for grabbing things from tight spaces and for using to hold small objects that you're super-gluing. Anyway, good choices on the whole and a neat budget setup.

You can throw in a Fresnel lens - excellent for magnification or a tertiary fire starting method on a sunny day - in the large pocket on the right side of the pouch for about $1. Easily found in the type of stores you went to or in bulk on amazon. And there's always the option to combine the Dime and Squid into a single item in the form of a SAK; doing so can save some cash and open room for another purchase such as a space pen.

My knife for my Brotacgear Sleek pouch is a Opinel No 6 for a bit. I got keychain knives, Kershaw Cinder or a $10 5.11 tactical Base 1SF.
