Corsair Yachts: Preview the Nero Yacht - 1920's JP Morgan Style Yacht Nero
This one-of-a-kind classic Corsair Nero is for sale.
Completed as a new build in 2008 NERO was inspired by the "Corsair" series of yachts owned in the early part of the last century by the financier J.P.Morgan.
Nero Yacht measuring 90.1 metres (296 ft) in length is one of the worlds largest luxury motor yachts.
Nero Yacht was built in China at the Yantai Raffles Shipyard being commissioned by Neil Taylor, who originally wanted to restore a yacht from J.P. Morgan, but was unable to find one to meet his requirements.
Yacht Nero truly captures the magic of that golden age with a huge sun or promenade deck and multiple exterior seating and dining areas.
Nero's Interior:
A fully paneled traditional Oak and Ash interior completes the yachts classic feel. This Nero sale features both a large Jacuzzi on the sun deck and a 5.7m (18'8"ft) swimming pool with swim current machine on the fore deck. There are three tenders including an enclosed cabin classic launch, five jet skis, two sea bobs and all the usual water sports toys you would expect to find on a yacht of this calibre.
With a maximum speed of 16.5 knots and her sophisticated stabilization at anchor system she is fast, quiet and supremely comfortable both at rest and under way.
She offers a cruising experience that could only have been dreamed of on the original classic yachts and yet is able to remain remarkably economical, burning around 450 litres per hour at her economic cruise speed of 14.5 knots.
The Nero yacht features the latest audio video systems with large plasma screens in nearly all cabins and both an indoor and outdoor cinema. All areas have either 5.1, 7.1 or 9.1 surround sound and all the audio visual systems on the yacht have AMX hand held remote controls with touch screens. High speed WiFi and hard cable internet connection are available throughout the yacht as are IPOD docking
stations.
The yacht Corsair has constructed, has a large foldout side boarding platform which is 6m (18ft) long, this makes an excellent "beach" from which to enjoy a swim or any of the many water sports activities on offer.
The motor yacht Nero has an experienced crew of 20 lead by British Captain Nick Przybylski and service is of the highest standard. The two professional chefs on board are able to offer international cuisine to the very highest level .
The yacht's side boarding platform makes the ideal "beach" for easy water access. Specifically designed to be low to the water to enable easy entry and exit from the sea i t i s i deal as a dive platform or children's water access. There is a shower and removable bathing steps at the forward end.
In addition to the side boarding platform the aft passerel is usually used at anchor as the ideal jet ski launch pad. It lowers to water level and offers further access to the sea.
The Nero boat is equipped with three principal tenders one of which is a custom designed 9.5m (31ft) classic cabin cruiser designed and built specially for NERO. This beautiful launch allows dry passage ashore in most weather conditions.
Supplementing this are two Rigid Inflatables, one of 8m (26ft) and the other 5.2m (17ft) which were custom built for NERO in the yachts own livery.
Motor Yacht Nero in 2009 won Best Motor Yacht over 75 metres (246ft) at ShowBoats International Design Awards.

Normally I'm not a fan of motor yachts, preferring classic sailing yachts like Athena. But this is tasteful and beautifully appointed, evoking the elegance of a bygone world. Well done to all who were involved in creating this lady.

Gorgeous yacht. The design reminds me of the Danish royal yacht, "The Dannebrog," built in the 1930's. Still sailing almost 90 years later.
That is a truly beautiful boat. TBH, I really love the "throwback" boats that harken back to a time a century ago, when yachts weren't "sleek", they were comfortable and intended to steaming...
Finally a classic design for new yacht. No tacky nonsense of interior, and love the masts and funnel.
Absolutely stunning boat. I've now changed my mind as to the type of boat I want to build. This is the design my navy architects are now designing to be made.

From what I know the new owners updated some of the electronics but kept the feel of the ship mostly the same.
Honestly, I don’t love how most yachts look a lot alike. And I really Like the explorer ones too, but This, this is another reason why I’m waking up dark early and going to bed too late. I’ll treat my fam with this toy one day☝️
Would have been nice to see the crew quarters, engine room, length overall, the galley! Very nice yacht though.

The yacht had been sold some years ago. Asking price was 'only' 35m Eur approx, which is not much for a 90m yacht. If you want to have a nice look at the yacht, check out www.neroyacht.com If you have some money left, charter her. I would do if i could afford it.

The one who bought it in May? Does he plan to sell it for profit or keep it for chartering? Nero is an amazing yacht. Been watching its price drop for a few years and I've been drooling at it... Was around $90M at one time, sold for around $50M this year to your boss. Best yacht by FAR at that price.

Absolutely amazing a real boat so beautiful and elegant. The plastic rubbish the rich have today cannot be compared to these beauties. How can you pay several hundred million for plastic rubbish or what the rich call luxury !

It is a motor yacht not a sailing yacht and there are 20 crew and 12 guests.

@@corpsebrideZA it actually has a crew of 30 and it will accommodate more than 12 guests. The masts are also functional and prepped for sailing. The large protruding smoke stack however, is fake

@@veritasetutilitas5432 Interesting considering I worked on Motor Yacht Nero for over a year and have seen the certificate of Registry with the Cayman Islands AND I was the Purser on board who did all the crew documentation and crew lists... The yacht CANNOT take more than 12 paying passengers by law. It doesn't have enough cabins to sleep more anyway. There are no sails on board. And the 'smoke stack' actually houses some emergency equipment. And your credentials are?

The paint is protection from corrosion. Colour doesn't matter. Mind you, if someone is trying to find the ship, something other than white or blue is a good idea, so it can be seen!

My point didn't reach you... It was that the bowsprit doesn't need a utility, it's there for design aesthetics. The yacht would look pretty bad if it weren't there.

This is a design element that carries over from the age of transition from sail to steam. Yachts and ships at that time had both sails and engines. The clipper bow and and overall design of this type of vessel is a nod towards that time period. It is still used today because it is both beautiful and elegant.

Only thing I don't like about this Yacht is the name. Not very keen on the idea of anything named after a psychotic mass murderer that thought live christians make good street lamps.
built in china ... for me a no-go! ok for people who search fake and cheap things, not for people to invest into a megayacht (just my opinion). the only place to build a megayacht is europe, the netherlands or germany. you won't even drive a chinese built rolls royce.
