Pav will die from injuries. Even if you save him. August will kill himself before moonscorching, because he is August.

I hope Orange will add Moonscorched form of August and Pav in future updates.

I just realize that Daan/Pocketcat, unlike other Moonscorched contestants, his battle soundtrack is still Breath Of The Moon instead of Desperation. I have a theory that Daan didn't actually get moonscorched, his "Moonscorched" form just simply his soul and body was taken over by Pocketcat instead of Rher moon laser beam.

Yep that’s pretty much it. Rher/Sulfur God still need someone to look for children so they always look for candidates for Pocketcats. Maybe each festival will give birth to one and Daan was chosen because of his Blank Soul.

⁠​⁠@@wobbu8587Its theorized that a parasite in the tunnels caused her to shift stupid early similar to Henryk. The curse of the town forces him to become the Mayor, and he can be seen slipping mentally when you talk to him in the manor. Abella however seems pretty chill in the tunnels, but if you look at her moonscorch form it has the same parasite for a face that the woodsman has. Autopsying its body also hints at this. So the theory is that the same parasite got to her and caused her to moonscorch early due to the trauma.

Dude is a bit rapey even if encountered as a human being. If you chose a specific female player character even before he loses his humanity he tries to struggle snuggle you while you sleep. The game is a blast!

love all the sh references. Olivia's moonscorch looks like pyramid head's helmet, that one sewer enemy (neighbor) is inspired by closers, funger god is a reference to another sh3 enemy (forgor his name), and crow mauler is an obvious PH reference + has an encounter where he stands behind the bars, just like the PH the first time you meet him in the secomd game these are all that I can recall tho, I'm sure there are more

So basically the moon and Rher’s contaminates the people on the termina festival which in turn turns them into moonschorched creatures , some are basically evolved forms like Samarie , Caligula or Oosa , others reflect how the people feel inside like marina , abella , Levi , Karin , Olivia or marcoh and in Daans case he was weaken mentally by the moonschorching process but pocket cat which is an entity on the fear and hunger universe used his powers to control him instead making him another one of his servants instead of being moonschorched

Rher (the moon god)'s moonlight is a point of leverage to get the participants to kill or otherwise participate in the festival. (It's how the moonscorched villagers started to decay.) It seems like they moonscorch in situations of extreme stress or after a long time of being exposed to the moonlight, at least imo since for example Samarie moonscorches when Marina rejects her and in Maso mode the player moonscorches after being outside for too long. The forms generally represent their inner and outer sources of torment. I have a lot of opinions on it though, that's basically the gist LMAO

I'm curious on where is Pav or August when Moonscorched.
