Holy crap, this is one of my favorite songs and I've heard it hundreds of times but I NEVER noticed that slide toward the end. Mind blown. Dino is a beast.

I got to see Fear Factory, Meshugah, and Slipknot play all at the same show in an old steel mill in Birmingham,AL. Talk about a dream lineup!!!

Its probably because he plays the open 0 on the first string instead of sliding to 5.

Hey man, a bit late here. You can start with 10-54. Usually that does the trick. You can even try 52s like Dino used. They’re a bit on the loose end, but you get that gross and nasty tone. It’s key for getting the Fear Factory sound. By the way, love your profile pic! Turok Evolution was an amazing game.

The Obsolete album is almost entirely in A Standard, which is pretty much D Standard but with the low A on top, hope this helps.

A standard on a 7 string. ADGCFAD. Fear Factory has used that tuning since Obsolete.
