Best siren award go to Rescue 1! "LEAVE THE INTERSECTION" was aggressive, so was that "Thank you." If you don't understand why "Thank you" was aggressive, it's because the driver of the Lexus finally left of giving the Chauffeur a hard time, and the Officer got pissed at the driver for needing to yell "LEAVE THE INTERSECTION!"

truely amazing, and especially when you see a specialty unit response, like high rise, rescue, haz-mat, or squad

Don’t think that “CLEAR THE INTERSECTION” was loud enough, or it’s the PA.

People are too scared to run red lights or stop signs. That's what it really comes down to. Also, in NYC sometime there's literally just nowhere for them to go

Smh...people would rather try to make extra ground or to their turn before moving for an emergency vehicle. Sad.

I think its time for all fire departments to have an upgrade to their loud speakers that 100 watt to 200 watts isn't loud enough. 500 watts and no more excuses that no one couldn't hear commands from the Fire Department. When they're emergency vehicles coming your way move out of the way immediately but safely and clear a path . Do not imped emergency vehicles.

Yes that's the way I could be a firefighter in new. You're I'd be taking my rig out there and slamming the shit out of everybody It's bad enough where i'm at as a VFF On open highways we still have this issue. People just do not get out of the way. And they don't move over and slow down no matter what you can have any color of light you want. However many lights you want they still don't slow down and move over I think there should be a lot that says if they don't slow down and move over. You can get another vehicle and go slam them off the road lol There's been a few times where myself I've had to hit the buzzer numerous times and get on the PA system and yell at people to move. Out of the way to keep going forward make way move over to the left end to the right. Give us a pathway. And sometimes you have to make people go through the intersection if you're in a narrow area. And I've seen it happen in my own experience. You have to get them to go through the intersection that's all there is to it. The other traffic stopped just get the h*** out of the way It's not that difficult but it sure is difficult no matter where you're at. It seems to be no matter where you're at in this world. People do not know what to do when they have blue lights or any type of siren or even green and blue. People just don't have the clue and where i'm at volunteers have to have amber and white lights flashing Depending on the fire district policy. I have been to volunteer in two different fire districts at the same time and it just depends on the situation and what the roads are like. One district though we really didn't need to use lights. It would help in some situations but they said no The other district is like use it as needed to move traffic out of the way. But don't constantly run with them on if you don't have to It's very awkward and other States used to have volunteer firefighters and now some are getting rid of they legalize marijuana and they can afford to Have full time fire departments and pay for their firefighters. In my state the two departments that I was with were a mixture between full time part time and volunteers Let's not forget that one hundred percent of the fire departments nowadays all started off with volunteers. So whenever you state you live in and you see green you see blue you see red and white or red an Amber or Amber and green or Amber and white and they're hawking their horns or they have a sound going with their lights. Move the h*** out of the way. They're obviously going somewhere and they need To go assist with putting out a fire saving a life. Responding to some sort of accident or somebody in distress do the right thing and get the h*** out of the way please because nothing is worse than pissing. People off that are trying to save somebody's life and every second counts. I have literally heard doctors say if they would have been here just 1 or 2 minutes early. We might have been able To save them And it's like seriously. You could have saved them by one or two Minutes. So Take That. In due consideration the next time you have an emergency vehicle coming up behind you You might actually be saving somebody's life moving over
