Looks like an incinerator chute that had a compactor installed at the bottom......That turned back into an incinerator.

Hope you enjoyed your Chinese food! Which reminds me of a trash chute story. Following Chinese dinner, I was in charge of picking up. Well, I managed to put the bag of garbage in the fridge and the bag of Chinese leftovers down the damned chute!! I almost did not live through that boo boo and have never lived it down!! YES, I LATER FOUND OUT THAT THERE WERE 2 BOXES OUT IN THE AREA.....BAT 11 TOOK THE FIRST ONE AND BAT 10 FROM THE EAST SIDE CAME AND TOOK THIS ONE.....THANKS SO MUCH HENRY.....

Hi JJ, that was a horrid fire the other day where firemen had to rope propel down the side of the burning building to rescue trapped people inside, unfortunately people passed away in the blaze

YES, WE STARTED OUT TO GO FILM IT BUT THEY KNOCKED IT DOWN VERY FAST AND THEN ANOTHER FIRE CAME IN .....WE WENT TO THE OTHER FIRE.....THANKS SO MUCH.....

Must have been a small one, who also burned a garbage bag that got stuck on the 20thst floor .
