No, what you saw was just a fraction of the FDNY. The FDNY can have 3 - 5 alarm fires at the same time with units being special called to each one of those 5 alarm fires and still have plenty of units left in the city to provide coverage.

The third on the scene pumper couldn't lay a line if they had to with all that congestion.

Where's the waste of taxpayers money when they are already cutting a fifth member from the houses, not to mention, you fail to understand this was an incident at an airport. How much equipment would recommend for something like this if it was more serious?
