FDCI Emerging Talent (Men's Edit) Countrymade, Son of A Noble SNOB and Khanijo.
Countrymade's collection 'Homecoming' is an attempt at expressing the longing for the return of a friend / a loved one / a soldier. The collection takes cues from battlefield emotions and translates the same into visually striking prints and embroideries. From molten take on the camouflage to bleeding camo colors in checks, bruised stitches to up-cycled textiles and woodblock prints denoting the nostalgic take on home.
The textiles used are all natural and range from heavy linens, blends of hemp, cotton twill, handloom denim and silk blends. Silhouettes range from vintage military cropped jackets to simplified versions of the M65 and HBT22 jackets, and workwear shirts teamed with utilitarian bottoms.
Son of A Noble SNOB's collection 'The war within' is about fighting the challenges and differences that many of us face in our inner life. The collection portrays a warrior vibe and our struggle as we take on the world.
Khanijo's collection tells its tale from the stale. Built with fabrics from their dead stock artfully assembled in a juxtaposition of patterns, materials, colours and textures that talk in a globally engaging dialect. The collection features achromatic colour blocking, intelligent texture blocking and novel shapes derived from the idea of illusion, curated together into an immersive experience, parading further deep into the labyrinth.
