Australia is providing specialist registration for FCPS medicine candidates after 1 year of Registrar experience in Australia. Additionally, with MRCP/FCPS, if one do USMLE, he can go for fellowships in USA in specialities if they wish. Only pass score in USMLE steps is required. This is for those who started MLE-couldn't match, now don't know what to do then they can gain experience and do MRCP and opt this route if they have craze and dream to be an American board diplomate. Only drawback is, they won't allow you to practice in US after completing fellowship, but yes, you'll have more worth in other parts of the world.

Madam does fcps medicine prep our portfolio required for speciality training after having MRCP UK ? Can we use the our fcps medicine portfolio requirements as a proof to get IMT training equivalence in accordance with JRCTB structure?

Yes these things improve and strengthen your application, but for IMT, you need to fulfil the foundation year criteria and equivalent competency.

if we clear MRCP 1 and 2 and paces as a pakistani MBBS degree holder and 1 year if HJ experience, what’s next in plate for us? Shall we be equivalent to a FCPS pass consultant in Pakistan? or would we need to do that FY(2 years) -IMT3yrs- speciality training in UK to be equivalent to a consultant in Pakistan?

MBBS & MRCP can work as a consultant in Pakistan. There r many doctors who r working as senior registrar of medicine with MRCP only.
