FCC Fines Mobile Providers $200 Million for Sharing Location Data

The FCC is fining mobile providers Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint a combined $200 million dollars for illegally sharing user data.

    T-Mobile, especially, failed to Protect our most sensitive data, then, profiting, and needs to be held accountable….

    Its amazing how a sheriff was involved in obtaining this information from a prison service company. Why would someone who could obtain a legal way to track suspicious people be involved in this??? Real time location has nothing to do with sending ads. The cellphone already pics up on your location to send ads...you have a right to turn this function on and off for yourself. This report is attempting to hide what's really going on in my eyes.

    🎉✅Without permission and without PAYING customers. Penalties should not be a set dollar amount (a small slap on the wrist🙄), RATHER it should be significant percentage of overall profits such as 2-5%🗽
