There was a system like that back in the 1980's that was similar. It consisted of 4 wheels or 6 wheels per side with it's own housing and was welded to the frame of the trailer. It was designed so that 1 could lower the trailer enough and load the car onto the moving trailer with using ramps. I have not seen them since until I started watch Your trailers, which I love
