Actually, it depends. The translators for the scans from Japan spel it Fey or Fay. But the official rominized version is Fai. It all depends on which you you prefer. They're all right.

I read the manga and watch the anime, and they are both very hard to understand. But the anime is a little easier because it's actually moving. Sadly, the anime leaves out certain things that are very important so the anime is a lot easier to understand if you've read the manga.

Just read the manga. It's sooo much better and alot farther along plot-wise than the OVA. Plus I feel like the anime sort of cheapened the KuroFai-ness that's in the manga. And some stuff was just plain left out.
