Mel, maybe when you are wearing a limited edition product you could just suggest something similar, that way you could stop feeling guilty. You should be able to enjoy all of your collection without guilt. No more guilt!! Oh and the two pairs of shoes, yeah I have done that. If one is good two is better. 🤗😘🥰

Yes. I just got it last week. I’m loving it. Can’t believe I waited this long to get it. When I ordered it it was $31 and $37 all together with 2 day shipping.

I love how you diffuse your eyeshadow so seamlessly. The colors are so impactful yet softly blended to perfection.

I just got Star ⭐️ Aura. I’ve been wanting it for some time! Mel sure was the best!!! Miss you!!!

So I don't love the shade slippery in the Huda naughty nude but instead of scooping it out I use it on top of my eyeshadow base to make the area stickier for her shimmers and I've found that works really well in reducing shimmer fallout. Tried to make it useful for something! 😂

The Mario palette is the one ABH I wasn't able to grab and I keep crossing my fingers they'll bring it back! It's the most stunning, everyday palette!!

I have it and it's one of my all-time favourites. That shimmer formula is better than the usual Abh so I wish they'd just go with that.

Mel, I hope you are looking down and seeing how loved and missed you are. What a beautiful light in this world you were. I’m glad we are able to come back here and hear your voice, see your face, and listen to you beauty talk.

I didn’t mind slippery in the naught palette , I think it was diff. We all ask for something new something diff and when we get it everyone complains about it. All it was is gloss and shimmer pearls. Could be used on the lips and compliments the eyes🤷🏻‍♀️ in my humble opinion

Yeah while I admittedly haven’t used it much, I don’t think it’s that gross, just a gloss with pearl pigments, I thought people were so dramatic about it lol.

Everyone cries for something new cuz they’re the first to say something is boring and they get it and tear it apart. It’s pretty shimmer pearls. So go as far as scraping it out was a reach to me personally. Just rub it around a bunch of times and the pearls would start to smear apart and boom u got a lip gloss! People like to be a bit dramatic and jump on band wagons 🤷🏻‍♀️ wut can ya do. But that’s just me

don't have the pallet but I actually wanted it and wanted to try it to see all the different consistencies/formulas .

I just want to say that I love that you talk about discontinued palettes! I am relatively new the the KZread world and I like to see some things that I missed out on. Plus you can still find almost anything for sale.

I’ve been sleeping on the Jackie Aina palette for so long, mostly because I don’t wear that much color. However, after watching this video I immediately went online and purchased it. Jackie deserves way more kudos for the palette than she ever got

I use the Tiny Decisions app, I love it! It's like a Wheel of Fortune that picks a palette for me to use on any given day. With a project pan, I would concentrate on just one or two palettes while the rest of my collection would just sit there. But with the Tiny Decisions app, all of my palettes get some love 💘

I have 130+ eyeshadow palettes in my collection, so i actually created 5 wheels to hold the names of all my palettes instead of creating just one humongous, jumbled-looking wheel. Then i created a 6th wheel titled, "Which wheel?" and numbered it from 1 through 5. I spin that wheel first, then, for example if it lands on "#3", i go to the third wheel and spin, and what it lands on is the palette i use for that day. Hope that makes sense! I know it may sound complicated but it really isn't! It takes a bit of time to enter each palette name spread out through 5 wheels, but I found it to be a great way to do an inventory. Once all the data is entered and the wheels are created, the inventory/"work" part is done, and all I have to do each day is spin the "Which Wheel?" wheel, then take that answer and spin that wheel. I have a lot of fun with my collection this way :)

I wonder if it would be a challenge for you to choose one favourite brand for one colour type? I.e. Tarte lil Juicy for pinks/reds or viseart Violette for purples, Natasha Denona Glam for the cool tones, Going Coconuts for neutrals, Pat McGrath for shimmers etc.. omg. 🤯 I think that would be so mind-blowing.

I used to work with a company that on Wednesdays all of their employees wore pink that’s funny. I think when the JA palette was released Anastasia went on such a roll of pushing out pallets that it almost cheapened the releases.

I've been binging on Mel's videos for the past 2 days. I've been dealing with my old friend seasonal depression and she is my therapy. I miss you so much you were and still are my comfy blanket and hot cup of cocoa to get me through these cold and ready gray days in upstate NY. It's great knowing I can always depend you you. When I was trying to dig out from one of the worst periods of depression I had ever dealt with up to that point in my life I looked to makeup again. My very first splurge I ever made on myself in my life was the born to run palette. That opened up Pandora's box for me. You should see my collection now. And don't even get me started on my brush collection. I have a real problem. Lol but now everytime I start feeling the depression trying to take a hold again I can just sit down and play with my makeup and it always puts a smile back on my face. Love you always Mel. Will never not miss your smile and giggle.

I bought Tiny Marvels on a whim when ordering Enduring Love and I use it SO much more than Enduring Love. The shades are beautiful and so versatile, it's one of my favorite palettes ever ♥️ I hope some of the shades will be sold as singles bc I'm definitely going to hit pan!

I had a combo of Tiny Marvels and Viseart absinthe on my eyes yesterday for a green and brown look, and it was amazing!!🤩🤩🤩

The old Makeup Geek quads and 9 pans, like Fall Harvest, the Manny MUA one, Amazing Amber and Roasted Chestnut... ugh I REALLY miss those. The shimmers they had were amazing. Ill wear those palettes til I pan them I adore the old MG.

The Jackie Aina palette is staple. I have to fight myself to keep from using it every time I wear eyeshadow. Beautiful colors and textures in every shadow. I was so excited when she came out with the palette. It was very under appreciated. Glad you mentioned it in this video. It is my favorite palette.

I finally got my hands on Jackie's abh palette, I had originally bought the mini norvina 3 and was unimpressed. I was left wondering why everyone loves abh, my l.a. girl pro palette out performs the mini but then I got Jackie's palette and was like okay I get it.

I agree. My first ABH palette was the Jackie Aina palette. I love the color story! However, the shimmers wear throughout the day. This could be because I don't use setting spray? Idk... But I do agree with you. I don't understand why everyone loves ABH. I love the Jackie Aina color story, but the shimmer formula sucks. I ended up buying other ABH palettes after the JA palette, but they all sucked.

@@amyames1979 I understand you shouldn't have to make things work but sometimes we have to. I've heard good things about nyx glitter glue to keep shimmers on longer, if you wanna get your money's worth. I was serious about the l.a. girl pro palettes, they're about $15 at my local cvs but I used a 40% off coupon and got them for under $10 each. The shimmers are impressive for such an affordable brand, maybe you'd have better luck with them.

@@bobbiobanion7706 I have had really good luck with most of my Morphe palettes. The only palette that I had issues with was the new 35XO palette. There are other brands (at a higher price) with good shimmers. I am just upset that such a beautiful palette (Jackie Aina) has lack luster shimmers. It's still one of my favorite palettes. I recently saw a Wayne Goss video where he talked about setting sprays. I am going with one of his recommendations to see if I am get the shimmers in the JA palette and one or two other palettes to work better. I have other ABH palettes that also fall short. Hopefully, the setting spray will do the trick. Thank you for the LA Girl recommendation. =)

When I was watching your Q&A video and you mentioned showing more lifestyle and clothing I say YES AND YES!!! The Aspen Ovart palette is hands down one of my most favorite and used palettes I use. I really want the Tom Ford Frost palette the price tag is a lot but goodness it’s gorgeous! I have to try Linda Halberg and Sydney Grace this year.
