I wish Essence would bring back those melted chrome shadows. Those single shadows are so good. I don’t know why companies always discontinue such good products.

I found your channel years ago when I was first getting into cream eyeshadow. Cream eyeshadow is about all I wear. Ulta had the Mac pots last year for half off. I like them but definitely think the drugstore cream eyeshadows are just as good and better.

Nude glow and Amber rush. Yes! I have both of those.

Nice video! I especially like that you include MAC, a venerable brand that sometimes gets shoved aside in favor of whatever is new this week. MAC's "little pots of joy," as I call them, are staples in my collection.

I love my Revlon Colourstay pots. I only have two, Caramel and a light but bold pink. I will be getting some more because I have enjoyed one shadow looks lately.

One of my favorites has the label missing but it's a Maybelline single eyeshadow and it has "Cocoa" in the name. Love all the ones you mentioned, too. Makeup doesn't have to be new to be good.

Love the one and done shadows. I'm over complicated looks. I no longer buy makeup just because, I buy when I need something. With prices, I pretty much buy drugstore. I don't watch the high end videos. I want to see what's good that I can pick up near me. I'm also done with large palettes. Would love to see an alternative/similar shade of blush to that NYX taupe blush from another video. I might be able to use something like that for blush and eyeshadow.

Yeah I'm tired of so many make up being shown on YT not being in normal stores. We need to be able to see it on person as a lot of videos are very color inaccurate

If you love shimmery Taupe eyeshadows that are one a done, I think you should try I HEART THIS by Colourpop (if you don't have it already), it's simply amazing especially paired with THAT'S TAUPE eyeshadow palette!😊💕

I have purchased a few of these in the past because of you. I have the Maybelline single Sterling Greige in my cart now! I'm surprised you didn't mention Maybelline color tattoo especially in High Roller. I really want to try their new shadow sticks. I love your hair here BTW ❤️

Love this! I just looked at my L’Oréal and realized I hadn’t used in so long. I love to use the wet n wild “nutty” too!

Loved this, Julie! Eyeshadows have always been my kryptonite and I own every one you showed here except the Essence shades. Back in the day it was so much fun to discover a gorgeous new eyeshadow shade, especially the hunt to find it for yourself! I depotted for years - my DIL is going to inherit dozens of DIY palettes when I pass - and oh I hope that single shadows come back into vogue!

Thank you for the tips and recommendations. Eyeshadows are so complicated for me but you break them down so I am confident in my eye makeup and get plenty of compliments. I love putting my makeup on while watching your videos and drinking my coffee. Feel like I have a little sister helping me out ❤❤❤❤❤😊

I wonder if the Believe Beauty shadow is similar to gel powder shadows Milani had years ago. I loved those. Now I have to go buy one and see !

Great one and done shades. Love that you use a variety of price points. I used to LOVE MAC Woodwinked as my one and done, but I'm allergic now to phenoxyethanol (which is in that formula). Haven't found anything quite like it yet. :(

Wow I own more than half of these! Lol. I honestly almost never do a “one and done” look but I love to use these as lid shades if the palette I’m using doesn’t quite have the right shade. I still have quite a few MAC singles like Woodwinked.

I really enjoyed this one and done eyeshadows.. I have nutty and also granite by Mary Kay which were bought at the same time so long ago!

Hi Julie. Perfect timing. I’ve been on the hunt for single shadows since I don’t have a lot of time to do my makeup during the week. I’ve been searching for clean beauty neutral shade shadows that aren’t glittery and will look into the Believe Beauty ones. I recently ordered a liquid-to- powder matte single shadow from Ilia but haven’t received it yet. Love your hair!

Loreal Amber rush used to be one of my favorites but its now hard to find. When i do find it in the store its all dried out or its been swatched. I also loved those Essence melted chrome eyeshadows. I wish they werent discontinued.

Nutty is another great one too and I can still find it in store at rite aid. I don't. do much online shopping and I don't use Mac. Mostly traditional drug store and Walmart. I'm very old school. Well, I do Ulta a little bit.

I was waiting for you to show Maybelline Tastefully Taupe in your taupes. It’s pretty - a little more on the gray side. I do love Nutty

Hey Julie! I have to ask if you have press on nails right now and if so, which ones. I’ve been having trouble finding nails narrow enough for my fingers. They are gorgeous!

Great video! I feel like one and done is all anyone is doing now. Eyeshadow palettes are not in style anymore.

I don't know if it's that trends are changing or the fact that I'm in my 40s now, but I prefer simpler eye looks these days. I just don't touch my palettes anymore.

I would love to know your favorite satin formula or shades
