    GAAAAAWWWD!! Finally found this site. Thank you, Michele! I had to start up AIP last Oct when I found out I have Hashimoto’s. I went to a functional medicine doctor in Westminster, CO. WONDERFUL TO KNOW I’M NOT CRAZY! Appreciate this video. My food choices have been so slim and even though I’ve lost 7 lbs and thats great, I am still knowing I need to stay on this diet. Gluten gives me headache and dizziness all the next day.

    oh I appreciate this! Jovial just killed it, I am in disbelief that I can eat pasta again. Eager to try the other ones, new to me. Thanks again Michele you help me feel hopeful for sure, and even excited to try new AIP rather than dreading the complications and feeling penned in by all of the poisons disguised as food:)

    You're so welcome! And yeah, I LOVE the Jovial pasta - I now eat rice on occasion, etc but still turn to the cassava flour pasta when I want some (instead of the rice pasta) because I love it so much!

    @@laurarazvan33 thanks for the advice, I don't struggle with finding the basic ingredients anymore and I think AIP is totally doable with what's available in Europe, plus I wouldn't eat this kind of processed food every week anyway, just sometimes when I'm dead and overwelmed by everything, I wish I could grab a ready made aip food like these! ;P

    No, I eat mainly Paleo and gluten-free these days. I make videos and recipes for AIP because I feel there is a need, but I've healed enough that I don't need to follow it any longer. If you're interested I did a video explaining that in more detail: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pn9tkpqDcsW2ms4.html

I'm italian, last time I tried, the italian custom just sent my package all way back to US. I really need some protein bars (jerky), cassava snacks (like paleo puffy snacks), sweet potato flour and pasta, cereal and even cassava pasta.... Was a miracle findind grass finished meat, like....really?? SOB. But thank you anyway for this video!!

    I always feel so bad making videos like this because I know all of you in other countries can't get them! But hopefully by raising awareness here, they'll become successful and expand - or someone will start a company similar near you!

    @@MicheleSpring oh no, you shouldn't feel bad!! :d It's true that this raise awareness, plus we all can discover that some products are.. possibile xD (like cereals!! Amazing news!! Hope the company goes well and they'll start international shipping). Unfortunately here in Italy we have nothing at all, so I struggled to find grass feed gelatin and collagen, cassava flour, tigernut flour..but, hey, I'm not giving up. :)

    Do you still follow AIP strictly or have you gone back to a normal Paleo diet, will we ever really heal or just fight off our symptoms ty

  • @MicheleSpring

    @MicheleSpring

    3 жыл бұрын

    No, I'm not on AIP currently - I eat mainly Paleo with some grains (like oats and rice) and beans (chickpeas and lentils) on a semi-regular basis and then "just" gluten-free if I eat out (which is a rare occurrence these days, ha). I go a little more into it in this video if you'd like to hear what I eat - kzread.info/dash/bejne/pn9tkpqDcsW2ms4.html - though I've been able to incorporate even more non-Paleo foods without issue ever since I recorded that last year. I definitely have "trigger" foods though, like corn, that if I eat on a regular or semi-regular basis cause me to flare.
