Weeki waachi is a place in florida that we use to go watch the mermaids swim underwater..my parents took me when I was little.. .I am 70 now..I grew up in florida..look it up.its a state park and so much fun...it's a great place like silver springs..so yes weeki wachee is a thing .and I remember those mermaid toys..from long ago .
LOL! "That was a fun little time we had," you say to the elephant after dropping and catching it. You are a hoot, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey, you crack me up. A bunny with a unibrow... You gave me a chuckle.
Holy Elephant- Great CATCH!!!
Mold o Rama was a machine that made molded plastic figures. They were placed at museums, tourist areas, and zoos across the country. I believe they were introduced at a worlds fair in any in ‘64. I remember getting them at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago and Field Museum. It was really fun getting them and the smell of the toy is one I’ll never forget.

Yes Jennifer!!! I remember too. I got a whale 🐳
That school memories book is so cool! 💚❤️💛
The pottery vase with the cats was a great piece !
The plastic molded figurines were souvenirs made in machines (that looked like claw machines), and tourists would watch them being made. Upon completion, the figurine would drop into a box at the bottom of the machine, where it could be retrieved. I can still remember the smell if the warm plastic. Seeing those souvenir figurines bring back such great memories of my childhood and my family's annual camping trips to Florida for spring break. As always, thanks for another great thrifting adventure, Jeffrey!
This is where my booth is! I didn’t see you in my space but I’m glad you found so many great things. That 1950’s booth that you love is one of my favorites and I have found great things in there too. Thank you for coming to orange tree antique mall in winter park.

oh that's so cool! 😁
OMG Jeffrey, that colorful vintage booth was to die for! I wanted everything in it! So fun!
Mermaid, covering up her bits. Your so funny lol
Oh my, I grew up in the 50s and 60s booth! I could live there and feel right at home. I remember printed toilet paper too!
The Mold-a-Rama machines use hot wax to mold. Some older Brookfield Zoo (Chicago area) ones can fetch some change. When I was a kid it cost a quarter to make one. The last time my kids made some in the mid 2000's, I think it was $2 or $2.50.

I'm so happy you went to my favorite vintage/antique mall in the Winter Park/Orlando/Central Florida area. I go to Orange Tree every couple weeks and always head first to the 2 booths you seemed to enjoy most...the shop near the front with the great vintage toiletries, metal display shelves, etc (❤) and the one with all great household funky stuff plus paper and photos, etc. Always fun to look through!
I love how that booth feels exactly like being in my grandpa's garage.
Omg. I could just hang out for hours in that coorful booth. So much goodness. And that mama and baby deer plantr always gets me. So dur sweet. I gotta buy one some day. I MUST HAVE IT. :)
I was giggling and laughing so hard that my husband wondered if I was drinking. Good job on your finds today. Thanks for the smile.

Oh Jeffery I really wanted the Donny Osmond record you passed right by it at 3:04 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I heard he is ALL the Rage🤪
I really have a great time watching your videos. You by yourself or with a friend they're just fun. Gigi
Hi Jeffrey! Another great video...you rock! Okay, here’s something interesting - I watched this video in the morning, and now this evening I am watching RAISIN IN THE SUN (1989) starring Danny Glover & Esther Rolle here on KZread. Right around the 26:40 mark the women are drinking coffee (or tea), and it looks to me to be the Franciscan ‘Apple’ pattern, which of course you mention in today’s video. The setting is the 1950s, so it would make sense that those dishes would have been used. Check it out, if you have time. I love spotting vintage home decor and goods in films.

Weeki Wachee is a place in Florida. There used to be an attraction there back in the 60's I think. This place hired women to dress up as mermaids and swim around in a tank while you ate dinner.
