Friendly tip: add stuff you like to your wishlist! Popular knives tend to fly off the shelves faster than we can replace them (we are a retailer, so we don't have complete control over the availability of products). My first switchblade was something similar to these. It was a real 1950's knife that my mom bought for me for my 15th birthday. They are traditional classics. But today I trust Cold Steel Ti lites. They resemble the classics but have major technological improvements and are very usable knives. Just bought the new model with the SV35N steel blade! Razor sharp. Excellent utility and last line of self defense.

The newer models like the two dark ones you have on the right, besides having the swing bolsters also have the push button moved closer to the tip of the handle. The older traditionals still have the button in the middle of the handle. And gotta love those bayonet style blades.

🙋🏽‍♀️When I was 10 or 11 yrs old, I went into my mom's purse while she was sleeping and got an interesting surprise. 🧐 She had a pearl handle switchblade. 😲 I got it out and went into her closet and "inspected" that thing for probably 5 minutes, pushing the button and seeing the blade pop out over and over like in the movies.😆 Then I thought, oops I'd better put this back before she wakes up...she never knew.😄 She passed in 1967, I don't know what happened to all of her effects and that knife.😒 I bought a "spring-assisted" stiletto, recently and Am not a fan. 😣 You open the blade by pressing down on this lever with ur index finger which is tricky for me and awkward, then to retract the blade you press a small piece of metal near where the blade pops out, which is awkward also to get it to bend down to put it up.🤨 I flashback on my mom's knife and the ease with which you could deploy the blade and retract it, dang I wish I had it now.😞 Oh well, I hope I'll be able to find another one like that one. 🙂

One thing besides great looks and solid action you never mention the fact that these Italians vs Asian cheap stuff is not only is there no hole in blade but the spring and backbone are one piece. The cheap ones are 2 piece male/female and break easier. Not as smooth as The knives from Maniago Italia.

In Michigan - it is legal to open carry a switchblade. It states that you should have a three-inch blade - so nine inch stiletto has the proper length. I am looking to upgrade in a nine-inch. The Chinese made ones sold in the malls seem to be cheap versions of what you sell. They just do not have the crisp snap that the Italian made automatics have.

yesss i remember when young (sono italiano) , the name in underground ambient its "molletta" and its a copy (but fixed blade) of "misericordia" a blade of medioeval cavalieri for finisc the enimy , if the enimy call misericordia misericordia then the cavaliere finisch whit blade misericordia.........sorry my english its schifoso 😁

I would absolutely love it if you guys made a $60 left-handed stiletto. The otf Italian stiletto could be improved by making the button on the back of the bolster. This way it is closer to the original look and it would solve the lefty/righty issue. I would love to have one just like that with a 3.5'' blade and cocobolo wood handle with bronze torx or allen screws.

I use Benchmade, besides the blade steel issue. Those are nice no doubt. Why not, the cross guard pops holes in my pocket eventually. I own a couple just don't carry them. My state is a Deer Hunting somewhat Mountainous one, we can carry a reasonable knife. Which are most in my opinion. Sword open carry, well that's a bit different.
