I'm grateful for this video too cos I'm just prepare to go for camping and need some essential lists. But I can't see a camping hammock in this video. I think a hammock is necessary for a camping cos sleeping or rest on hammock is very comfortable. I bought a hammock on amazon that comes with a mosquito net and I'm satisfied with it. Here's the link if you guys need it too. www.amazon.com/dp/B07NLSKSRF

Newer sleeping bags fit easier into stuff sacks if you don’t fold them. When you and I were kids, if you didn’t fold and roll it, it wouldn’t even come close to fitting. Thank goodness for modern technology.

Maybe you can try a long hike with just vegetarian food once, and show us the items you ate, how hard it was to find them and how it affected your hiking experience etc. Your vegetarian followers like me would probably love to see it, and it'll be a cool experiment.

@@wildmanstudios6534 Goodwill is a great resource for hiking clothes. I recommend looking for polyester or other synthetic shirts, shorts, etc., and looking for fleece jackets. they make good layers and aren't as warm or packable as down but still pretty nice. In terms of shoes and socks Id highly recommend taking the plunge and buying good ones. It makes a world of difference.

Your videos inspired me to try and make a couple hiking vids of my own while in the Adirondacks. I don't know how you do it man! lol Adds a lot of time to the hike. I like the vids I got from it, but I found myself not wanting to spend too much time making sure the shot was just right, so most of the time I shot in auto and didn't bother with a tripod. I might just need to get a better flow going though. I like these hiking gear update vids. Always good to see what kinda gear you're using while on the trail.
